Great spot for dinner. Nice weekly specials and a delicious steak and Guinness pie. Happy we made reservations since the place filled up quickly. This place was recommended by our hosts in town and we're happy we tried it!

HUGE portions, my friend and I only got halfway through each of our meals (Parma and burger). Food was delicious, we sat outside but there are nice areas inside too. Very classic pub vibes. Manager/owner came out to check how everything was which was lovely

Great venue, "old school" feel, well stocked with good alcoholic beverages.

Good service, attentive.

On our Steak Night, $25.00 Porterhouse, extra $3.00 for creamy mash ... general consensus; okay, cooked well, meat were a bit chewy, ordinary pepper sauce, not value for money.

Staff rude, mainly the “supervisor” as he calls himself.
Was an arrogant smartass the moment we walked in when he was asking for ID to dine in?
Then we overheard him telling one of his staff members off for clocking off when his set time was, this was infront of diners aswell.
Will never go back here was a waste of time, money and effort travelling nearly an hour away.

Service is very slow. It took over 40 minutes for the starters to be served (calamari and fried chicken dumplings). The mains took another 30 minutes.

We ordered 2 steaks medium with sauce on the side. They put the sauce on one of the steaks and mine was burned which came out tougher to cut than well done. We explained that ordering sauce on the side prevents the chips from getting soggy and staff said they'll bring out fresh ones. They never did.

It took a long time for them to change the burnt steak. I had to say that if they weren't cooking it yet, we'll just end our meal and pay for what we consumed. Then they checked how much longer it will take. When they finally served my order, they got it wrong!

This was so disappointing. We will not be returning.

One of the best sticky date puddings I’ve ever had the experience of having. Soft and moist with a tasty and sweet butterscotch sauce and some whipped cream on the side.

I only went here for the dessert and was thoroughly impressed.

Chocolate fondant was also fantastic!
