This beautiful little community house, should be the model for all communities setting up there house. The programs, are exactly whats needed, the space is colourful and happy, the gardens have been improved by Sonia and her mob with native indigenous medicine plants. The facilities are basic but cover everyone's needs. A bright, airy, happy, space that hugs you when you walk in !

Yes, Selby Folk Club is back and what a great 1st night after lockdown. Michael Waugh and Grand Baxter with their very talented accompanying musicians made for a very special night of 1/4/22. On once a month it is a very well run folk club. It's a bit hidden away for those who are not familiar with the area, and parking can be difficult on a very busy night.

Awesome playground and sandpit tucked away from the road, available for the public to use outside of kindergarten times.

We went to the Selby to see a great show Jenny Biddle, and got an added bonus of hearing Benoit " ben-wa" who is a math's teacher and not a set of Chinese balls that rattle that came up on google when I looked the name up LOL. Any way a beautiful spot with great folks looking after it.
I was with someone in a wheelchair and the place is easly accessible with a decent toilet with a left hand bars all nice and clean as you would expect. the staff bent over backwards to make the visit comfortable and accessible as it is only a small area.
It is used for many things Not Just the Selby Folk club.
if your up in the hills check it out.

Many years ago I taught a class at Selby Community House and had my daughter at the caring occasional child care. I know the place well. It is an amazing community venue for all sorts of reasons. I attend botanical watercolour classes now which are amazing and recently hired the house for a 50th Bday Party. You get the full kitchen which was perfect for Caterers to use for our party. We comfortably had 85 guests adult's and kids, as well as a 3 piece band. Access to a large TV for a little digital photo presentation. Can't recommend this place enough.
