This is the best "holiday park" ever (used to be called caravan parks but we've moved on from those things! Lol). We stayed in one of the cabins to be with family who came over from Adelaide with a camper. It's a really friendly place and we felt welcome for the get go. We were impressed with how it's so well catered for families with children. There's plenty of space for them to play, ride their bikes, or swim in the pool, and the park has activities each night for them like a disco or whatever. They add you to the SMS list and you'll get told when the communal fire is alight, when the kids' disco is on, and when the Shack Shack is serving food. We also loved that the place quietened down at night and everyone was nice about letting each other sleep. My brother loved his ensuite camper site and said it was spacious enough to set up easily. |There's a shared path to walk into town or go for a run or ride if you feel energetic. |For people who want to cook, remember Halls Gap is a small town. There's a great general store (and they'll love you for shopping there) but if you want groceries or anything special, bring them, don't leave this wonderful area to make the hour round trip to Stawell to go to Woolies. Halls is a small town, the jewel of the Grampians, come prepared and enjoy. Or go to the Snack Shack or some of the local places to eat out. |We were really stoked to be back in Halls after so long, and it's great to see the place so busy after the fires a while back.

Terrific park. Had everything you could ask for. Amenities set up for families to get the kids sorted, ie shower, toilet and basin in one room with space to keep the kids in check, were a little dated but clean.
Never been to Halls Gap before, but will be back, for sure.
We were lucky enough to get in due to a cancellation that morning, so thanks to whomever it was, you missed out.
Used as a staging place, we checked out the local surrounds and went to the zoo as well.
Really a terrific spot for the whole family to get away.
Fire pits, camp kitchen, tables and chairs.
Live music on the first night (Sat) with some good old fashioned guitar was enjoyed by all. Movie night the 2nd night, but we didn't partake as we were out and about.

Highly recommended. Great views of the mountains. Clean. Nice trees around the camp ground. The pools make you feel like you're somwhere tropical. Staff are friendly. I recommend you call to book a site that allows camp fire if that is important to you as not all sites permits fire pit.

I camped here for 3 nights in April. Fantastic location, sites, facilities and service. My site backed onto a creek, had a good fire pit and easy access to all facilities. Toilets and showers were very clean - and there was always hot water. It's a short walk into Halls Gap and a very quiet location at night. The astrophotography was done from my campsite (no. 145). There's not a lot of grass in the camping area, but the owners have staked down some shade sail to the sites and that keeps the dust down brilliantly. I usually avoid commercial campsites, but I'll be coming back here.

I had a studio cabin to myself and loved it! Very comfy bed and pillows, efficient air-conditioning, fully set up for self catering and good water pressure in the shower. I enjoyed sitting on the porch reading and looking at the mountains. There seemed to be a nice family vibe in the park, friendly and quiet (except for the cockies, little blighters!)|An easy walk into town, I'd happily stay here again.

Avoid this place like the plague. Booked 2 bedroom cabin. Get notification at 10.30 on day of check in to say room is ready early. Enter reception which smells like people have been chain smoking in there. Get given key to the room, walk in to the room which has broken locks on flyscreens and a horrendous smell. Notify reception and ask for some sort of spray for the room, to no avail does the spray do anything for the smell. And the beds, yeah they weren't made, you have to make your own when you get there. Bathroom shower drain full of dust and hair, definitely not cleaned at all. You have to pay to even wash your clothes. It's not like an racv holiday park or anything of that standard, it's the worst place I have ever stayed at ever. We checked in for 2 nights and didn't even stay 1, lucky we had other connections in the area to sleep. Don't bother.

Really enjoyed our stay recently. I have never been to a caravan park before and from the front reception staff (Pam) to the cabin staff (Shane) made us feel so warm and welcomed, as a result we have booked another stay in 3 months time!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and friendly stay look no further than here.

Can’t wait to be back. Amazing stay.
