The balconies is just 1km walk from Reeds lookout, the walk is very simple, it’s on the plains. The view was stunning, passing through wooden bridges, wild flowers on the way, chirping sounds, the experience was good, there are security measures taken at the Balconies to prevent people from going further through the gate. The mountain view was absolutely stunning, there were several hills all around. There is also a lake which came be seen from the top, on the way to The Balconies

Very instagram suitable spot. You can view the grampian mountain and forest from top. It's 1km flat walk which means it's very easy to reach from the car park. On the way from car park you will find few very lovely wooden bridges and mountain views.

Great stop to add to your Grampians to do list, it's a beautiful view to admire the beauty of this part of the world. It's about a 20 minute drive from Halls Gap with breathtaking views along the drive and 15 min walk from the car park. Nice walk and the lookout is worth it. πŸ‘Œ

Undeterred by the weather conditions, we continue the balconies hike.

We saw foams coming out from tree trunk and we were joking that it had too much beer 🍺

We like the hike so much that we decided to donate and realised that it was full after we placed our donations.

A 40 minutes walk round trip for us as we’re a little unfit. It is a one km walk to the balconies from the car park. Really beautiful and breathtaking view of a sea of trees. Passed by many toilet bowl looking trees that made me very urgent. Come here if you have some time to spare.

A nice 15minute walk from the carpark.
Just make sure to go on a clear day and not a cloudy day like we did, as you can’t see any view from the lookout πŸ˜‚

Stunning views across the Grampians from two separate lookout points, Reid's Lookout and The Balconies. The latter being a 15-20 min upward incline walk up a muddy track. More than worth the effort for the views at sunset. Viewing areas are small and on uneven ground.
