I still vividly remember the road trip I took with my dorm mates to Grampians National Park a few years ago, and it was one of the most memorable trips I’ve had! The drive there was full of laughs and excitement, and as we arrived, we were all immediately blown away by the stunning scenery.

The views at Grampians are absolutely incredible. From the sweeping valleys to the rugged mountain ranges, every corner of the park offers a new and breathtaking perspective. We hiked up to some of the most iconic spots, and while the hike was definitely tiring, it was completely worth it. The sense of accomplishment after reaching the top, paired with those panoramic views, made every step worthwhile.

The natural beauty of the park made the effort feel like nothing, and despite the challenging hike, we had an amazing time. The group dynamic made the trip even more enjoyable — chatting, laughing, and supporting each other as we made our way up. We took plenty of breaks along the way, soaking in the surroundings and taking photos of the incredible landscapes.

Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and scenic outdoor adventure. The combination of beautiful views, a rewarding hike, and good company made it an experience I’ll always cherish

A Little Slice of Heaven – Twice as Good the Second Time!

We’ve just returned from our second visit to Halls Gap, and once again, it completely stole our hearts. If you’re looking for a place that offers peace, beauty, wildlife, and unforgettable experiences, Halls Gap is the ultimate destination.

Our first trip was magical – waking up to kangaroos grazing just outside our cabin, the majestic backdrop of the Grampians towering above, and the crisp, fresh air that makes you feel instantly relaxed. We hiked to waterfalls, explored scenic lookouts, and ended each day with incredible food from the local eateries.

What really surprised us was how our second visit felt even better. Maybe it’s because we already knew how special it was, or perhaps Halls Gap just has that timeless charm that never fades. This time, we slowed down even more – had cozy picnics by the lake, spotted emus wandering nearby, and even caught a perfect sunset over Boroka Lookout.

It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel so at home while still filling you with wonder. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, Halls Gap delivers warmth, beauty, and memories that stay with you. We can’t wait to go back – again and again.

Come early if you want to enjoy the nature and views. It will take you some time to go from one place to another within the national park.

We had a self-drive trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. Along the way, we stopped by Horsham small town & visited Grampians National Park. Such an awesome view. The best is the we are able to drive up. To get the scenic views for photos, you have to walk a little in. Worth the visit.

The best place in Victoria, highly recommend doing the Grampians wonderland loop, casually it took us 7 hours but worth every minute. The loop will take you through the top of the grampians but also through the trees.
