Serene & green
A wonderful weekend escape to the country enjoying the delights of Knockwood. Perched on top of a hill with amazing views of the countryside, roses in full bloom, the veggie patch and citrus trees bursting with promise. The miniature horses, the chooks, cattle in the nearby fields add to the rural experience. Julie and Jeremy are perfect hosts who take pride in offering the best amenities and atmosphere to escape. We’ll be back!

Julie and Jeremy's place is a fantastic for a peaceful, easy weekend getaway. Knockwood Estate is atop a hill with sweeping views of the area and very private, but within 30 minutes drive of lots of wineries, breweries and quaint local towns fun for browsing. Rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and well appointed. The guest living room has a wonderful wood fireplace and piano, and with windows overlooking the valley, is a great spot to while away a rainy afternoon, or plot your next day's plans over a glass of wine. Julie treated us to home baked scrumptious cakes each afternoon and we purchased some of her homemade jams to remember our visit by. They know the area well and were full of suggestions for fun things to do in the area. We will definitely return! Our dogs loved getting to know theirs, and enjoyed roaming the property, meeting the resident horse and ponies.

Knockwood Estate offers a truly unique experience. The setting, beautiful trees and knockout view make this a wonderful accommodation stay. Julie and Jeremy are warm hosts, great humor and knowledgeable of South Gipplsand. House is inviting and well equipped.
The location of Knockwood Estate gives many options for day trips, including Wilson's Prom, and the popular Great Southern Rail Trail for an E Bike hire.
Highly recommend this magical location.

An incredibly unique location with magnificent historic trees. The beautiful hills are showcased as the property sits high on a hill. Jeremy has an infectious laugh and personality, Julie is a wonderful host. ||Located at Berry's Creek, offering many day trip options to Wilson Prom,The Great Southern Rail Trail, and bustling Meeniyan.

Had a relaxing and enjoyable break at Julie's and Jeremy's country abode surrounded by beautiful scenery and very warm country hospitality - loved the choices for breakfast and the yummy citrus cake!! Also loved Jeremy's and Julie's home-grown and home-made jams, chutneys, etc, which are also available for sale. Knockwood Estate is our gateway to Mirboo North, Leongatha, Inverloch, Wilson Prom, Tidal River, Meeniyan, etc. Lots to see and do, not forgetting some lovely cafes/restaurants, too.

We found friendly country hospitality at Knockwood Estate. The view is spectacular and the trees majestic. Breakfast was delicious. Julie is a relaxed hostess and opens her house to her guests. A very welcoming and inclusive experience. Recommended places to eat and nearby walking tracks.

This B&B is located on a rural property about 10 km south of Mirboo North in Gippsland. It is on the peak of a prominent hill. ||||The gardens are a serene parkland with sweeping lawns surrounded by a circular driveway and containing many majestic trees, and with beautiful views over the surrounding district. ||||The hosts are friendly and supremely hospitable but allow guests as much space and privacy as they may wish. Guests are provided with an elegant lounge area, access to wifi, refreshment on arrival and full country breakfast, catering for all wants and dietary restrictions. Their organic farm eggs and vegetables enrich the breakfast. ||||The rooms are elegantly furnished and the bathroom and toilet facilities are off an adjoining hallway. There is a twin and queen room that share these same bathroom facilities; there is also another room/suite available, which we didn't inspect. ||||All this for only $120 per night - GREAT VALUE!! ||||They have well-trained dogs that are only allowed inside with the full consent of any guests. We didn't notice any dog hair or smells.

Fantastic place to stay. Great hosts, nothing was too much trouble! ||Beautiful setting and some very well trained animals. My daughter had not really met dogs before and by the end of the weekend she was in love! 🙂||Home cooked food was great, don't think they could be more adaptable. ||No problems at all, would definitely go back.
