We decided to head down to the Mornington Peninsula and explore the port side. We stumbled across the General Store and it was a great find. Friendly service and great food. The locals were friendly too. The beach near the cafe is wind swept and beautiful.

I love that the options were kept simple. I hate going to places, and there are too many to choose from.
The porridge was so delicious. Perfect texture and tasty at every spoonful.
The coffee was smooth.
The atmosphere was relaxing with a great view out to the bay. Staff were friendly and engaging.
This was a sensational opportunity after a beautiful walk on the beach.

One of my favourite cafes. Ticks every box, friendly staff, nice food, lots of goodies to peruse, fireplace during the colder months and a view of the ocean. And the most delicious chai latte that tastes like pfeffernusse cookies.

Fantastic location and great vibe. We had the chilli scramble and the falafel bowl both of which amazing. The chilli scramble was topped with femented chilli's rather than the standard scramble that usually has chilli stirred through. The falafel bowl was just a delicious bowl of green goodness. The coffee was on point.
The staff were friendly but a little slow/absent seeing the cafe was very quiet while we were there. Besides that it was a very enjoyable experience.

The food was very disappointing for saying it is the only place round Somers. Mushroom Benedict had soggy bread and weirdly a strange taste . Fish and chips was like a kids size and for the price you feeling ripped off . The service wasn’t the best and for the amount of staff in duty I am not sure what they were all doing .

One of the best kept secrets at Mornington, staff were friendly with beautiful smiles, service was quick, food was fresh and delish love the crispy chips! Place was quaint and charming with ample parking. Bonus was seaside across the road. Shhhh don’t tell the tourists hahaha

So glad we came here for breakfast, the breakfast roll and the pancake were both amazing. Had a cute gift shop and beautiful outdoor seating too. Would recommend if looking for brekky or lunch down the peninsula.

Staff are really friendly and accommodating.
Lovely spot for coffee and food. I had iced coffee and fish and chips, batter was too thick and this fish was too small. Chips needing a bit more cooking.
