This is a nice place which has nearly everything you could ask for, but there could be a few improvements made.|The spa and sauna area is great but needs to get cleaned, there was the same shaving stubble on the steamroom wall for the 4 days we were there, so clearly nobody is cleaning it. The change room and room showers need to have a good clean too.|There is no public transport into town if you want to go into town for a drink so it is a good 20 minute walk in there as there is no Ubers out in Healesville. They offer a set of golf clubs to use the 4 hole short course down the back, but they only have one set of clubs which are suited to short people, so if you’re over 5’4” it’s no good to you.|Apart from that the rooms are big and it’s very quiet and the restaurant is not bad either, it was a fairly pleasant stay.

We stayed for 5 days over the school holidays and we had a good time. Use of the golf carts to ride around with the kids after 2pm was a big hit each day to see the kangaroo’s, also the jumping pillow and pools / spa were great! The games room and holiday program kept the kids busy. We love the breakfast buffet it has everything you need. Unfortunately the Riddles Creek Restaurant was not ideal, the young staff were under trained and most of the food was frozen (hamburger patties, potato gnocchi etc) so consistent but not a healthy menu for the kids (no fruit salad etc). Overall we will be back, most likely will head out for food more next time. The rooms were kept clean and although it is an older hotel there is some mould in the silicon in the shower otherwise the room was great - good size!

We had dinner in the restaurant. It has stunning views over the nearby hills. The service was excellent, the waiting staff were very attentive and it has a good upmarket presentation and atmosphere. The food was extremely good, my beef brisket was particularly tasty. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you are looking for somewhere superior to eat or stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, the resort itself has great amenities however the service could have definitely been improved on, phones are never answered and you need to leave voicemails to get a call back.
We also put our do not disturb on however we got to the room to find it being cleaned and had to wait outside with our baby until it was complete. The resort is a pleasant 30minute walk into town.

Bit strange that peak periods were identified and communicated about possible waits. But why not anticipate and cater for them to provide excellent experience for customers.

Booking a table at restaurant and on arrival informed we were booked in bistro.? Fortunately we were given a choice to sit in restaurant but table required in an hour. That was ok for is, but perhaps not a 5 star experience.

I had the duck which was cooked well but lacked acceptable sides. Two slices of breast was served with chunky potato chips. Not really prime dining.
My wife had the pea risotto which was one dimensional but enjoyable. Accompanied by zucchini fritters which were neither here nor there.

The wine selection was good!

Accommodation side is great. We were upgraded from lawn view to golf course view. Reception were friendly and efficient, but I can’t really say the same for staff in Riddell’s Green bar/restaurant. Some of them seemed very pained to be there. ||Just a thought, but could the resort run a shuttle for the few minutes into town?

* Attended location on public holiday, long weekend, to find the main restaurant is closed as this is standard for a Monday. No flexibility for the fact that people booked due to the long weekend and it would have been quieter later in the week after school holidays had finished. Left with a cafe to eat in for dinner at this resort.
* Included sparking wine with room, but this was not refrigerated at all, instead left on the bench in room.
* Buffet breakfast was terrible as all food was gone by 9:00am and waited 1/2 hr for some hot food to be replaced. Most of the remaining food was not replaced until buffet was packed away at 10:00am precisely.

The Healesville club is a space to breathe. We find it’s the most serene of the RACV/Q places to stay. This visit delivered the usual great experience we’ve come to expect. We enjoyed walking around the grounds to take in the countryside. The kangaroos were exceptionally numerous for some reason compared to other visits. We spent a long time gazing at their grazing. As always, we found time for the pool, gym and big bouncy cushion. The club offers a decent choice of dining options with one restaurant offering finer dining and the other more casual. We chose casual this time, and had satisfying meals that also met our tricky dietary requirements. We look forward to our next visit!
