BIG4 Seymour Holiday Park - Seymour, Victoria

We opted to stay here for two nights opposed to our original free camp locations due to how cold the weather turned quickly.

For two nights on a grassed, powered site we paid just over $100. So in comparison it wasn't too bad.

It was our first time as a family staying at a caravan park, and overall we were quite impressed with the facilities.

The laundry area was self explanatory. $6.00 a load (card available to pay) followed by $1.00 per 10mins for a dryer (coin operated only). They had a washing line for those opting to line dry.

The bathroom facilities exceeded my expectations of what I imagined. The only was the shower could have been improved was that there were shower heads on extended hoses instead of fixed shower heads.
Plenty of hot water and lighting around the park. Lovely birds right near the entrance and reception area.
Animals subject to suitability but we had no issues with both our cat and dog on lead, enjoying the park.

The playground connected to the camp kitchen for ease of access with kids.
Free WiFi was included but we didn't utilise it due to having StarLink.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and it exceeded our expectations of a caravan park in 2025.

The park was clean, tidy, well maintained, was on a great spot on the river, had clean toilets and amazing showers. The staff were accommodating and easy to deal with. We stayed on a powered site which was fine...

However, I get the feeling for a Big4...this park misses the mark. These parks are meant to be for families with kids. In my mind you go to a Big4 or Discovery Park with kids due to the facilities and how fantastic they generally are for kids.

This park has an appalling 'playground' if you could call it that...and that's it. No games rooms, jumping pillow, no pool, no activities besides a 1 time play through of a treasure hunt around the park. No Swings, no flying foxes, no pump tracks...all which you can expect to see at other Big4's or Discovery parks.

If it was just my wife and I. I wouldn't have rated this 5 stars no problems. But this is the worst Big4's I've been to when looking at it from a kid friendly perspective.

We stayed there in a cabin while our caravan was in the dealership. We had a dog friendly cabin which was excellent. The staff are so friendly and made us feel right at home. They made are doggo feel so welcome also. Lovely walks along the river. This park is awesome 👌.

Stayed here for a weekend to visit with family.
Great park in a bushland setting right near the river.
Our powered site was very shady.
Amenities very spacious and clean. Laundry on-site.
Camp kitchen was great enclosed with BBQs, pizza oven and plenty of seating.
Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Walkable to town.

Whilst the park itself is very nice. We organised for a group booking and was given a joining sites in the booking process - however when we all arrived we had been separated over the park. We then got neighbours who should have been on 3 sites all jammed on to the site next to us.
Unfortunately we won’t go back

We stayed in a drive through site on our way to Barwon Heads and we loved the Caravan Park. The Managers are extremely friendly and the facilities were 1st class. The Goulburn River forms part of the boundary and we enjoyed a dip to cool down. The grounds were very tidy and well taken care of. The camp kitchen is one of the best we’ve used and being a shower rater 🤣😇😂 I have their men’s showers in my top 3 across Australia!

We paid $144- with the Big 4 member discount for a lovely 2 BR cabin for one night. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and a small verandah and seating at the front. The river is a minute’s walk and the park was peaceful.

Beautifully kept and quiet park on the river. Clean and modern facilities. Turned up after hours and the manager was very accommodating.
