Had a great experience at Thredbo for first timers. Our driver Darren was very informative of both locations where he dropped half of his passengers at Perisher and the rest of us at Thredbo. I was impressed by Darren's driving, always staying within speed limits and had the rev counter of the bus within the optimal range for performance and economy. I was not that impressed by Thredbo for first timers to the snow, we caught the Gondola at $65.00 each for one trip up to the top of the mountain and back, even though the rides were unlimited who wants to ride that all day. When we got to the top nothing to do if you were not a skier and often we were in the way of fast moving skiers at the end of their run. The facilities at the top were limited for seating and to me it seemed that it was a yuppy spot where nearly all fully dressed skiers (hahaha) just parked themselves for the day drinking and eating and looking the part. Another thing missing at Therdbo was no toboggan rides which were only available at Perisher. All in all it was an experience even though it was unusually warm which did have an impact on snow conditions.

This is a really family friendly and inexpensive way to give your kids a snow experience. I found the driver to be friendly, happy. The bus ride was peaceful, scenic. The kids slept most of the way! In the lead up, the team were really responsive and helpful in guiding the best options. I recommend Thredbo for a basic walk off the bus and hang out at the snow day. Thank you!

Can't praise this company enough. Nothing was too much trouble. Initially booked on line but also via phone which greatly helped to answer a few questions which in the end saved me $. Bus drivers were friendly, punctual & informative. Perfect day trip to the snow. Many thanks from our family.
