Beautiful House and gardens with excellent knowledgeable guide. Delicious afternoon tea with pleasant and attentive volunteers. Lovely well stocked little shop with realistic prices. Wonderful tour and extraordinary features of the house to see. We were guided by Andrew and he was fantastic. You can tell this place means a lot to him and just the sheer enthusiasm made that very known. The volunteers in the kitchen made a delicious high tea! Everyone was very pleasant.

We had an excellent tour with Zuzanne. She has such an amazing memory for detail and her enthusiasm and knowledge enabled her to answer all questions and explain everything. Followed by my husband consuming two big scones with home-made jam and cream and me having some gluten-free food supplied by Christie and the other volunteers.

Absolutely worth the visit. We called in advance to book a tour and enquire about the Devonshire tea. The volunteers went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. Couldn't do enough for us. Really enjoyable day. Also was able to buy some of the jam that was served with the scones.
