From the landscaping to the Shack itself Par 5 Shacks exceeded my expectations. The rooms are massive. The view to the golf course is very relaxing and being able to have the sliding door open and listen to the birds in the morning was wonderful. The bathrooms are next level luxury. The bed was soft but so comfortable and the pillows were great. The soft furnishings are on point as is the decorating. The architecture is so lovely. I do enjoy buildings like this. I wish I could have taken my shack home 🙂

Stayed here about a couple of months ago with my wife and loved it.||Was back in the area for a friends birthday and the choice of where to stay was already made...!||Fantastic comfy bed was a treat along with the superb bathroom. Very deep bath as well as rainforest shower.||It was about 42 degrees and the air-conditioning took care of that, no problem at all.||Very quiet and peaceful.||Will definitely be back!

For a regional stay it was good. ||Small things could have made it feel more special for the price point. |Beds comfortable, space was good but it lacked any personality. Too minimalist? |There was lacklustre soaps etc bathroom. I would have expected a complimentary bottle of wine for the type of stay.| The aircon was not on for our arrival so 35 degrees. The room was not prepared for a check in, ie The chairs were all over the place. Only 2 coffee pods. ||It looks good, it was nice and comfortable but for $462 it wasn’t special. Excellent location and positioning. Nice and modern with very comfortable pillows and bed. Clean. The bath towels were huge and fluffy and soft. Bath 10/10. Good standard. I agree with the comment about a tad too minimalist and maybe lacking some finer touches. The lack of light blocking curtains above the sliding doors is a small issue but can be annoying during the day. I will be back for sure. Great base to explore the Riverland

The website shows a pool, but in the fine print it is some 400m from the shacksSimilarly with the barbecue, and the fact the rooms aren’t serviced daily.|Despite these, the shacks are very luxurious, plenty of space and well equiped. A lovely outdoor verandah right on the golf course, to enjoy a drink.|The tavern adjacent offers an excellent range of meals at reasonable prices.|We stayed for 3 nights, and would stay again when visiting the area.

I recently had a booking at this establishment and needed to contact the staff with some inquiries. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional and discourteous behavior I encountered. The staff were not only rude but also made inappropriate remarks about my accent, which was both offensive and unacceptable.

As an Australian born overseas, I expected to be treated with the same level of respect as any other customer. Regardless of a person’s background, every guest deserves to receive professional and courteous service, especially in a paid hospitality setting. It is disheartening that such biases exist, particularly when I was visiting the area for work that directly contributes to enhancing critical infrastructure for the benefit of the community.

I strongly urge the management to address this matter and ensure their staff are trained to uphold professional and respectful interactions with all customers. Every individual, regardless of their origin or accent, should feel welcomed and valued when engaging with a service provider.

Love, love, love the design, space and layout.
Bad, bad, bad bed. If a firm mattress is your thing look away. Mattress was softer than fairy-floss.
Would love to go back if a firm mattress option was available.
Earth Restaurant across the fairways definitely lived up to the hype.

Really enjoyed our stay, comfortable bed and the shower was amazing! The big tavern was great food was amazing!
Only downside we had lots of ants but definitely would stay here again
