My wife and I decided to stop by The Tower Hotel for a lunchtime drink, and while the setting itself was quite nice, the experience left much to be desired. Upon entering, we were met with complete indifference from the staff—no greeting, no acknowledgment, despite the fact that the bar was far from busy. But hey, who needs a warm welcome, right?

We ordered two Margheritas and were assured they’d be brought to our table. After paying upfront (because of course, they took care of that part promptly), we sat and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Fifteen minutes later, with no drinks in sight, I decided to check on our order. Lo and behold, it had been forgotten. How thoughtful.

To their credit, they did make the drinks quickly after being reminded, but by then, the charm of the experience had already evaporated. It’s almost impressive how a place with such potential can manage to make you feel like an afterthought.

The Tower Hotel Bar certainly has a lovely atmosphere, but if you’re expecting attentive service during lunchtime, you might want to temper your expectations. Or maybe just bring a book—you’ll have plenty of time to read while waiting for your drinks.

We came on a whim to get some lunch and it was delicious! We had the barramundi and a parmy, both cooked well and tasty. The service was excellent, Blake was very welcoming and looked after us well. The fire was going in the Alehouse section and so cozy!

Absolutely delicious food! The lamb cutlets on the special atm are a must try, tandoori chicken salad amazing! Steak sandwich was more on the interesting side but I wouldn’t Change a thing! Only get if you like pesto! Also they have different chippies! Overall great food can’t complain! Happy bellies!

Stopped in for Sunday lunch. I had the Nepalese Curry off the specials board. My wife had the Wagu burger.
Curry was fantastic with lots of flavour and I would definitely order again.
The burger was unfortunately a cheeseburger size not a proper burger. Hot chips should be cooked in their own fryer. These ones tasted more like fish than chips.
Service was fast and friendly.

We came in for dinner on Saturday night and had a wonderful time. Staff were great in accommodating us and making sure we were really well looked after.
We had a really good time and we will be back again soon to try the pizzas, which we were told are coming soon.

What a great place! Stopped in today for a lunch, just as there was a function in a back room kicking off. Simone was fantastic, told us about the table ordering app and it went strait to the kitchen and we didn't have to wait while staff were busy with them.
Will be back.

Been coming here for over a year on a semi-regular basis and they have a great pint & parmi deal here for $20. I mainly eat at the sports bar area and the staff there and the gaming room are very friendly!

Natalie is the reason the Tower is so successful, she is the most beautiful helpful staff member, who has empathy, a listens to your customer & couldn’t be more accomodating.
She was wonderful for us & made our experience even more enjoyable & comfortable at the Tower.
