While visiting family in SA we went to the O.G. Hotel for lunch on New Years Eve…

The venue was lovely and relaxing we were lost for words with best Beef Schnitzel we’ve ever had!

We absolutely loved the feel of the place with good old fashioned customer service.
The staff were so attentive to everyone in the bistro!!

We will definitely be back and make this a regular stop on our next visit to SA 👍🏻😃

Great little spot for the average pub grub. Front looks deceiving but in entry it’s a revamped space with beer garden at back.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Quizz nights service needs a little improvement. Meals were late or forgotten, items missing with meals but was quickly rectified by friendly staff. Servings are great, meals tasted average.

Nice pub at Klemzig on OG Road. Was great value Parmi and Beer $ 19.90. Hard to find those prices these days around Adelaide. Pictures are of the front bar eating area. Very clean and service was great. Def a good place for a meal if you’re near by.

Well, where can I start about my meal tonight! Looking for something that wasn’t deep-fried I opted for a Caesar salad and I specifically requested that the lettuce was not drowned in mayonnaise and that the poached egg was soft & gooey rather than hard boiled. . What appeared on my plate was chopped up lettuce drowned in mayonnaise with a semi poached egg which was borderline boiled on to - ugh! I don’t think the kitchen staff member I talked was too happy when I sent it back.
I then ordered an entree of dumplings thinking that that might be an alternative. Then quite sometime later a takeaway container of dumplings appeared in front of me. I wasn’t so much fussed about the takeaway container & was happy to eat them except the dumplings were stone cold. So once again I took my meal back to the kitchen & after some more time a plate of hotter dumplings appeared in front of me. At this point, I had truly lost my appetite. The hot dumplings were drowned in what tasted like a soy sauce mayonnaise and i just couldn’t eat them. Whoever is running the kitchen at the OG hotel needs to seriously look at the other options on the menu for those of us who don’t want deep fried food. I suggest the cook or the chef google the recipe for a Caesar salad. Needless to say I will not be returning for a meal here again!

Very nice pub/hotel with the renovations. The pub restaurant was crowded as it is closer to office Xmas parties and a Friday lunch.

Front of office staff are brilliant and work hard. Our food came out quickly too.

We ordered the chicken korma curry and the scotch fillet steak with peppercorn sauce Absolutely lovely food. The curry was the best and the steak cooked to order. Only feedback was they sent a Diane Sauce out and the salad had a very sugary dressing.

We will be back

We got Sunday lunch here, absolutely beautiful the meats being pork and lamb melted in out mouth, full of flavour as well. We could not fault our meals, perfect. Very affordable. Lovely staff, certainly recommend 😉
