Had a booking for 4 weeks which we changed to two weeks with 3 months notice to the office. Asked and received a statement of Tariff and how much we owed. Got it and paid up full amount two weeks before our arrival. Received a receipt and statement showing we were fully paid up. Arrived on 25/4/25 to be told we needed to pay an extra $184 because they made a mistake in our tariff. We paid it as we had driven from Melbourne to get there. So we paid $47 per night. Asked about the $20 per night deal and were told we don’t qualify. The vans around us are paying $20 per night. (They also booked on the phone like us). Possums are everywhere in the trees so our car and van are covered in possum poo. Asked to be shifted to an open site. they said that the park is booked apart from two sites offered which have trees. Staff showed no care or concern for us. Will never return to this park. Spoke to other patrons here and found out this is a common problem here.

My family and I just recently stayed for 3 nights and we were so sad to be leaving and this has been our favourite family getaway so far. The cabin was great, the facilities fantastic, everyone friendly and so much for the kids and us to do. Thank you for helping us create unforgettable family memories. We are now looking to rebook in July! 😍

Great park and great location. We just came back from our second Easter trip in a row. Unfortunately we won't be back as both years there was people up partying all hours of the night, keeping us awake every night. I think if this was policed more, it would be a much more pleasant stay. Considering it's supposed to be a family environment, I don't think loud music and drunkenness until 3am is very appropriate.

Had 3 days of rest, recreation, and discovering lots of places of interest, in Barmera and further out to other towns.
Lake Bonney is very serene and relaxing on the lawn area at the beach front, just taking in the atmosphere.
We enjoyed the stay at Discovery Park, Lake Bonney. Thanks, reception ladies and staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome.
Susie and I highly recommend staying and holidaying here.
We will come back again.

Absolutely beautiful location
Issue is that the toilets have lights on 24/7 and the external doors do not close tightly. This means that as soon as dusk appears the bathrooms are full of mosquitoes. The ceiling, the cubicles, the sinks, the floor covered in them. It doesn't make it pleasant for showering or using the sinks in the evening and morning.

So peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. The cabins were so nice, the kitchen area is amazing for a cabin. The staff are friendly and accommodating. All round, just lovely.

First time visitors to any caravan/camping park. Why have we waited so long?!!|Top spot by the river. Deluxe cabin immaculate. Enough crockery, flatware, glasses, cooking utensils. Beds excellent. |Staff outstanding. Helpful, friendly and Karen and Bri went the extra mile by “juggling” the bookings thus enabling us to stay an extra night because we enjoyed ourselves so much.

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at Discovery Parks – Lake Bonney. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the place. That said, there were a lot of people, but everyone was in the same great mood. The common areas are very well maintained, and there are plenty of activities for all tastes. An ideal destination to disconnect, enjoy nature, and create unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!
