We had just came in 5 minutes before the kitchen had closed as we aren’t from here and didn’t know where to go. We felt extremely bad as the chef and the workers had put all their dishes etc away. The staff were so so sweet and super nice and understanding. The food was to die for we are so greatful for their customer service and work ethic. The people were really nice. I think they were having a bad day. It was a stinking hot day. The food was slow, there was a mix up in our order, which they rectified but it was all very slow. The salad bar was done by the time we got to it. Fish was really good when we finally got it.

Went for a meal. Booked in advance. Staff disinterested when we arrived. Ordered a medium rare steak. Got a well done tasteless steak with two prawns and two bits of squid with the tiniest drizzle of hollandaise sauce. Cost me $48. I don't mind paying $48 for a steak but I expect a $48 steak. Served on a bed of lumpy mashed potato with an almost empty salad bar. Partner ordered a seafood basket and it was over cooked and dry too. |$103 for an over cooked steak, dry seafood, two pints of Great Northern and disinterested staff. Pretty disappointed.

Easter holiday off to Port Vincent for 3 nights stopped in at Ardrossan Hotel for lunch and couple of drinks. Food was terrible my girlfriend and I ordered beef schnitzel had flavour of fish and oily also tough. Guys meals were worse didn't think that was possible.Very overpriced. For a tourist town you need to do better. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone. Very very disappointing. Staff were ok but no atmosphere at all. Don't waste your money

Arrived for lunch at 12.50 to find the salad bar consisted of a bowl of pasta and a bowl of chopped beetroot. We ordered our mains expecting that the salad bar would be replenished in due course. It never was, so we asked 2 waitresses on separate occasions when the other salads would be served. One waitress just disappeared, the other said she'd organise one for us but also disappeared. We'd almost finished our lunch when we noticed a bowl of lettuce with a few lame additions in the salad bar, but we were never told of this. After paying $90 for lunch and drinks, we expected alot better than that.

Had a meal there tonight, don't bother, flathead was tasteless, chips cold & soggy. Bread rolls were over cooked. Vegetables at servery were dry, looked like they hsd been there for ages. Drinks very expensive.|Waited 1 hr for our meal, place was busy but that is no excuse.

Overpriced for a well aged motel that is in a great location, walking distance to beach and playground and cafe bakery, supermarket etc all around you... Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, lovely friendly staff all round. Great meals but I don't like the add ones and paying extra..but odd first pub I have come across that gravy , garlic butter etc is an add on...has a salad/vegetable bar instead of served with actual.meal..which I'm not a fan of, yet at least you can pick n choose what you like and how much without waste....

Fish overcooked overpriced salad bar was some was dried out lettuce and pasta salad size of a Soup bowl told to help Our self very disappointing. Maybe the chef should get a book on how to make salad at least.🤮🤮 wouldn’t eat there again or recommend it to anyone
