Today my wife and I went on a drive to a wonderful place at Kangarilla called the Manor Estate. You’re greeted by beautiful surroundings with a majestic fountain out the front. Very welcoming on a hot day. Vast green areas and a quaint wine cellar filled with charm, ambiance and chesterfield chairs that beckon you to sit awhile and take a load off. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and relaxed. The owner Peter was great. He took the effort & time not only to explain his wines and what the venue has to offer but also to sit and chat personally with his clients. The food was truly amazing shout out to the chef. Take your time and check the place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Today I had the pleasure to peruse a wedding venue for an interstate client. The location was at Kangarilla and the venue The Manor Estate. And I must say it didn’t disappoint. Upon arrival one is greeted with a marvellous fountain that can be seen from the stairs. The property has vast green spaces and areas that can capture the special moments of a beautiful day. The Manor offers multiple areas to host differing events from special birthday celebrations, engagements, weddings or just a casual but amazing lunch with a glass or two of fabulous wines. The estate has a cellar door on site which is charming and quaint. If you’re looking for that unique venue with fabulous service, welcoming staff that are professional and will go the extra mile to make your event what you’ve dreamed of and deserve You can’t go past this gem. The scenery and surroundings will definitely yield wonderful photo opportunities for the professional photographer at this venue.

Well what a gem of a place to find. We had a wine tasting with a cheese platter which the wonderful owner Peter & sidekick Hiro were the most fabulous hosts. We learnt so much about wine & it's the only winery (& trust, we have done many over the years) that we loved every wine we tasted so the challenge was to decide on what dozen combo to purchase. A very chill vibe, so relaxing so do yourself a favour & take a very pretty scenic drive from McLaren Vale to Kangarilla & enjoy this wonderful Manor!
We'll definitely be back next time we pass through from Victoria.

I discovered Manor Estate Winery in Kangarilla when my sweetheart swept me away for a Saturday afternoon surprise. It massively exceeded my expectations by welcoming us with a message in a bottle which guided us through the tree-lined estate to where we could taste its wines in a secret garden. Once there, owner Peter Cap and host Hiro made us feel even more welcome with a wine and cheese pairing quiz that introduced us to Manor’s magnificent 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon. We went home with a delicious dozen bottles in the boot and the memory of a magical afternoon.

Thank you so much for a great afternoon, perfect tucked away spot and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend for an afternoon in the sun. Bandicoots also roaming the property (tame and friendly but wild!) were an awesome unexpected bonus.

The tasting incorporated an audio visual presentation and Cheese and wine tastings overall the experience was awesome!! The cheese board had a variety of components designed to match with the wines in the tasting.|We found some matches of food and wine that was perfect!

Fantastic venue, the owner and staff are so friendly and the service was excellent. Beautiful grounds too and a very friendly bandicoot comes and says hello. Wine goes down very nicely.

Had a lovely afternoon at Manor Estate. Peter and Hiro were the ultimate hosts.. Beautiful rustic setting and the drive up to the Manor is an easy drive through Clarendon.
A hidden treasure.
The wine was Devine. .Cab Sav..Merlot Cherry ripe!
Cheese platter beautifuly presented and other meals looked fab too.
Saw a Bandicoot and Peacock. Worth a visit 😃
