Lovely restored stone cottage set among grape vines in a quiet location. Hosts are communicative and proactive. Well stocked for breakfasts with well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed the home made bread. Close to many wineries and just a short drive to McLaren Vale village.

Beautiful restored and spacious cottage. Stayed for 2 nights. This would have to be one of the cleanest and spacious cottages we have stayed in. We choose a different wine region each winter. Paul introduced himself when we arrived and even bought more wood for the 2nd night as we’d run out.|My only disappointment what that there was no eggs and bacon for breakfast which we are use to, but my fault for not reading the inclusions. We had the home made bread and cereal for the first morning and went out for breakfast on the 2nd.|Visit the Battle of Boswoth winery close by. It has kept it’s beautiful original charm and staff are amazing

This place is gorgeous. The setting is utterly serene,the only other house we could see was that of our hosts, but there is a giant peppercorn tree between the two houses so it really feels like you're the only ones there. We didn't even see our hosts - but Paul did phone me just to check all was ok which I thought was nice. ||||The cottage is surrounded by a vineyard, and watching the sunset from outside the cottage was a highlight of our time in McLaren Vale.||||The cottage itself is heritage listed and they've done a fine job of keeping the original charm whilst adding a modern bathroom and kitchen. It has really short doorways and small steps between some rooms. I think this all adds to the charm, but you do need to be careful if you're tall or have any difficulty with small steps. ||||The breakfast/tea/coffee etc. provisions were delicious and very generous. ||||We would definitely stay there again and i recommend it to anyone seeking some peace and quiet close to McLaren vale.

We recently spent two nights at Peppermint Farm Cottage and throughly enjoyed the rustic cottage set amongst the vines. It is very comfortable and we loved the central yet very tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and our host Paul was wonderful to communicate with and made us very welcome including topping up our firewood and sharing some great local winery knowledge. We would definitely come back to stay here next time we visit McLaren Vale.

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful cottage and gardens surrounded by vineyards and wonderful birdlife and perfectly located being so close to so many wineries and places to eat and everything else McLaren Vale has to offer. Perfect romantic getaway. Loved the open fire. Paul & Diane really have thought of everything including home baked bread and Paul is friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do in McLaren Vale. You simply HAVE to do yourself a favour. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location. Perfect hosts.
We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful stay in McLaren Vale.
Peppermint Farm Cottage is pristine, with modern amenities and beautiful views of the vines. Diane and Paul couldn't have been more accommodating if they'd tried, providing not only everything we needed for our stay, but expert information and knowledge of the area and the best vineyards to visit.
A definite 5 star stay. Thank you - we will be returning!

A wonderful stay at Peppermint Farm cottage with all the modern conveniences. the old cottage is full of charm. Charming hosts nothing was too much trouble and were most welcoming. Perfect location to see this beautiful part of the McLaren Vale. Certainly going to stay again.

Peppermint Farm Cottage is situated in an ideal location for exploring the McLaren Value wine region and to top it off the cottage is nestled practically inside a vineyard!||||The cottage itself is very comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us. The fire place makes for a very cosy ambiance and the breakfast and pantry supplies are most adequate.||||If you're looking for a peaceful and quaint cottage in the middle of a vineyard in the middle of wine country then this is the perfect location for a getaway.||||Note: tall visitors should note that the cottage, while beautifully restored, was built in the 1800's and so the doors are only 6 feet high. This visitor in particular is nursing a bump on the head from that one time he forgot to duck!
