We are from Sydney, Four of us visited this venue with our Adelaide friends. We walked in last minute of the day and only 45 minutes to finish off. I didn’t test the wines so I wouldn’t comment on the testing. But the service was amazing. I loved the coffee at the end. The value of the testing was good because it was included the small nibbles. We enjoyed it . We got allocated in the nice private room. I gave 4 stars because of the overall experience, if we have stayed there longer and I tested the wines. I would be more than happy to provide more feedback. We will return when we visit McClaren region again.

Fabulous experience at Primo estate this morning with Megan , she looked after us giving an insight of the history of the vineyard and the family who had been running it for 3 generations. We tasted 8 wines , who are a mix of Australian and Italian style , we were also lucky enough to try their delicious extra virgin olive oil , vinegar and Grana Padano. Thanks for your hospitality , you are an asset to the team ! We felt very fortunate to spend an hour here in this beautiful place. Thanks again

Superb wines, superb venue, superb host (Lynley), and superb tasting experience. We spent nearly 90 minutes tasting an incredible range of wine, beginning with a Prosecco, fruity on the nose but dry on the way down, to cleanse the palate. The tasting notes, plus Lynley’s additional commentary, helped us appreciate and understand the wines set before us. When the reds were being poured, Lynley produced servings of bread and olive oil - much appreciated. Ended up getting a mixed dozen: Prosecco, Il Briccone Shiraz Sangiovese, and the Shale Stone Shiraz, plus a complimentary bottle of olive oil. A first-rate experience and an exceptional start to our day of discovering just a fraction of what McLaren Vale has to offer.

Booked a wine tasting for 8 of us who had cycled down from Adelaide and we were not disappointed. Wonderful tasting led by Kirsty who did a great job managing 8 blokes. So welcoming, accommodating and knowledgable. Great variety of wines which we are now enjoying back in Perth.

We had the most amazing morning at Primo Estate. Geoff was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We had our 8 month old, 3 year old and our friends 3 year old and what could have been a very disrupted unenjoyable wine tasting experience with children he made it very easy and so much fun for us. The wines were absolutely delicious and Geoff was so informative about the wines. The venue itself is stunning and the olive oil is chefs kiss! Thank you for making our visit to McLaren Vale so wonderful Geoff!

Enjoyed immensely. Great service from warm and engaging staff. Wines are gorgeous! Cellar door has a lovely outlook and very different feel to others. The complimentary bread and oil was appreciated.

Must be my favourite wine tasting experience so far...and that's saying something because every where has been absolutely hospitable and gracious thus far, but Kearon was the best host!
The wines here are unbelievable to say the least. Loved ALL that was put in front of me!
I could easily buy a case of each of the wines on tasting today!
