Shadow Creek was amazing in every way! The views out of every window were nothing short of spectacular and we enjoyed time on the deck listening to and watching the birds.
From the moment we stepped in to our accommodation we relaxed. Chelsea and Brad had honestly thought of everything. The generosity of the pantry and fridge was outstanding and we enjoyed sampling the Shadow Creek wines.
The design, layout, soft furnishings and amenities were spot on and we enjoyed the luxury of the bath overlooking the vines. We even checked the brand of mattress as we would like one ourselves as we slept so well.
The place was private, we had our own car and it was a perfect base to unwind after visiting the pristine coastline or a recommended winery.
Chelsea advised of a great butcher and he did not disappoint. His grass fed Scotch fillet tasted delicious. Of course there was a BBQ!

Wow, this place is next level. Perfect, quiet private location. Morning and daytime views of the sea, vines and wildlife were absolutely speccy, but it's at sunset into night this place comes into its own. Sitting out on the balcony having a couple of glasses of the beautiful Shadow Creek Grenache (best Grenache in the region), it feels like you could be sitting on the edge of the world. Night time views into the distance are awesome. So damn peaceful. I work in a sometimes-stressful environment, and I don't think I've felt that relaxed in a long time. All the locally supplied produce is quality and next level, so you don't need to go anywhere if you choose (we stayed in). The furnishings, decor and special little touches when entering are perfect and we'll thought out. Jazz music in the background on entry suited and stayed on for our whole visit. Large bathtub with a view of the sea and vines was perfect, and the couples shower also with a view is awesome. Place is quiet, peaceful, super clean and super comfy. Bed is awesome and the bath towels are the best quality I've used in any stay I've had, anywhere. Part of the Willunga basin walking trail is right behind the accom if you feel like a stroll (we did). Cannot fault this place. I would love to do a winters night here with the two sided lounge area and bedroom fire place going (all prepped for you and ready to light). If you're thinking of spoiling your loved one (which I was gifted for my bday), this is definitely 100 times over my recommendation. Do it, it's perfect. You won't be disappointed. 😀

Absolutely AMAZING place to stay. The view was perfect, accommodation was great with a beautiful bathroom and bedroom facing the winery, so relaxing to have a wine on the porch looking over the view. Could see the sunset at night which was gorgeous. Perfect little trip, nice and close to lots of amazing places to eat and drink! Will be back

Incredibly well-thought out accommodation with captivating views. Everything you need for an indulgent stay is included, such as graving platter and pantry ingredients. I’m also a manual wheelchair user and found it very easy to navigate and use (including the bath with some creative problem solving and ambition). Would highly recommend and look forward to staying there again soon

One of the best places I've ever stayed, right in my own home town. The house itself is designed so beautifully down to every last detail and the view is amazing, photos don't do it justice. Chelsea was fantastic and provided great recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. Very generous provisions for platters and breaky were supplied. You feel secluded while only being 10 minutes from the main town and most popular wineries. Worth every last penny!

We stayed for two nights on our honeymoon and it surpassed our expectations! We were provided with an abundance of platter and breakfast items, as well as delicious wine and beer options. The view here is something special, made even better from the bath. A quiet, relaxing place and so close to many amazing food and winery locations! Thank you so much!

Sadly due to the new lockdown in Melbourne we had to cancel our stay at Shadow Creek. Despite being well within the cancellation period and having paid in full, Chelsea agreed to give us a full refund. This is such great customer service especially as I'm sure they are dealing with a lot of cancellations from Victoria. It's taken so much of the stress out of our cancelled holiday. Thank you Shadow Creek and hope we get to stay again soon!
