Lovely accommodation! Hazel is a great host who thinks of everything for your stay. The location is near a lot of wineries and a bus stop. The e-bikes are also a great addition to the stay with the Shiraz Trail in their backyard. You are also provided a cute and yummy breakfast every morning! Would recommend to anyone who is staying near McLaren Vale.

We stayed at Mulberry Lodge for two nights earlier this month after booking a Pamper Package. From the start, Hazel was warm and welcoming, sending lots of information and then a link to her excellent app, which contained a wealth of local knowledge and recommendations (which we were happy to follow). On our first afternoon, we took advantage of the property's ebikes for a lovely cycle along the Shiraz Trail. As part of our package, we had dinner at The Salopian Inn, which was amazing (and even better to have Hazel drop us off and pick us up so we didn't need to worry about driving). These extra touches made our stay special, as did the amazing breakfasts delivered to our room each morning. Hazel is a fabulous host and I would recommend Mulberry Lodge for anyone looking for something a little different and more personal.

Great couple of nights stay at the mulberry garden retreat. Hazel delivered a generous multi course breakfast hamper each morning of our stay. We made great use of the e-bikes on the Shiraz trail. Mulberry was the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale for both vineyards and the stunning beaches. The garden retreat had everything we could possibly need - even beach towels & yoga mats and of course - lots of sweet treats : ) The guest app includes lots of detailed information about the area and very good suggestions for wining and dining for various occasions and budgets.
Thank you Hazel for a wonderful stay…you may have even convinced us to relocate!

We stayed for 3 days in October. Hazel & Nik were wonderful hosts with lots of tips on local activities and organising dinner reservations and taxis. Breakfasts were delicious and the room very comfortable. We also made good use of the e-bikes to travel around the area and have some wine tasting without the need for a car.

No need to look any further for accommodation in McLaren Vale, Mulberry Lodge is in a beautiful setting, with gorgeous views. Hazel and Nick were wonderful hosts and were very helpful and accommodating. The room had everything there that you might need, and the Guest guidebook App was super helpful. The complimentary e-bikes were a treat and got us around to the wineries easily. The lodge is well positioned and quality throughout. The delicious homemade breakfast hampers were a standout too! We will be back 😊

Hazel and Nik are fantastic hosts, Hazel brings you a beautiful homemade fresh breakfast every morning. You have The perfect amount of privacy and are not bothered every 5 minutes with is everything ok, if you need anything you just text. Its a really good location just out of town and a few minute drive to Willunga or Maclaren Vale. They organise everything for you including winery tours chopper tours and dinners and lunches, it's Really great experience.

Hazel and Nick were lovely, beautiful garden escape all you could ask for quiet and peaceful location close to all facilities, winery's and the shiraz trail complete with e bikes. food was exceptional.!

Having booked the Retreat some time ago and needing to reschedule, Hazel was most accommodating and understanding of my situation. Very thankful my booking was held for a more appropriate weekend where I arranged a Mother & Daughter get away. Hazel was also able to book in a package for us last minute to further our experience at the Retreat and surrounding area's of this magnificent location. Beautiful breakfast arrived each morning, took a day trip on the ebikes and relaxed in the tranquil garden's of the property.
Thank you Hazel and Nik for hosting us, we shall be back in the future for another amazing weekend.
