We loved being able to drive down onto the beach and set up for the day with everything on hand. No trying to find a car park and lugging down everything you need for the day. It's so easy ✨️ We did have to pay a fee to enter the beach on the day we went (it’s a full day permit and not sure if it’s always the case) It went to the local bowls club so we were happy to support a local organization.

Loved driving on the beach and setting up our shade,next to the car.
Saved carting everything from the carpark.
Wasn’t expecting the $12 fee to get on the beach. Not sure what expense I caused the Onkaparinga council by driving on verse walking on the beach
We were in a line up of cars going on the beach so even if we didn’t want to pay it would have been awkward.
we had a great day.

It's so good being able to drive down onto the beach. Just pack everything in the car and set up with everything right at hand. No lugging bags and kids and towels and everything else you need with you. Go for the day or for a couple of hours, or just dip your feet in the water after a hard day. It's so easy ✨️

This beach is magical. From Sydney, very few beaches that you can drive on, particularly without a 4WD. Just make sure you go when the tide is low!
I tried some paddle boarding here. The best time seems to be 8-10am in the morning before the wind picks up.

All car access as the beach has been maintain very well.

Popped down at about 10:00am and it was packed but there was still room to park a car and have a comfortable amount of space around us. Would definitely recommend getting there a little early to beat the rush! But a beautiful beach indeed! Met some lovely people and will definitely be back. Saw some groovy cars too which was awesome!
