Online metro card recharge is incredibly slow. "Should appear within 1 hour" but never does.

Why is it called a "recharge request"? I'm not requesting to be recharged. I'm paying to have it recharged.

What if I get on a bus and it hasn't added the amount that I paid? Why is it so slow?

Surely you guys can figure out a way to fix that issue. It's 2025 now come on.

Back in public hands but still not great by the looks.

Also you need to put bins in the railway station instead of just saying we need to go up to North Terrace. You can pay for cleaners but not pay for bins? Makes sense.

This review is about the service I received at the InfoCentre today (330pm on Wednesday 23 October).
One window was open with a customer asking endless questions. There were staff at 3 other windows but they were paying no attention to the public (just me) waiting to be served. It was hard to see what was happening from the position that the signs say to wait.
After 10 minutes I went up to one of the windows and asked if they were still open. What, a customer rudely interrupting, how dare the customer ask a question. The reply from the younger male staff member was "no" and the female staff member, who looked like she was training him, nodded her approval at his response.
The message I got was that I was lucky to get attention.
One male staffer realised what was happening, opened his window and served me. He explained that when the younger staff member replied they weren't open he meant that his window was now shut as his shift had finished. So the younger staff member and his supervisor had no concept of what I, the customer, wanted to know.
The male staff member knew his stuff and sorted me out. No smiles, no sense of humor. Again I got the message that customers come second.
The lack of customer focus made me think of New Zealand 40 years: customers were lucky to get served back then. I also thought of the poor service we used to get on the interisland ferries between the North and South Island when they were heavily unionized.

Hopefully management will read this review and take appropriate action to make customers feel valued.

The lady with glasses at the information centre was extremely disrespectful and rude.
She was at the end counter at 3:05pm. 31/10/24.

As a school student my metro card wasn’t working so I phoned the Adelaide metro number at lunch and they suggested I go into the information centre and ask for help, so I did and felt like a fool the way she treated me, she was very unhelpful!! Very upset by the way she treated me. I would give 0 stars if I could

Really impressed how clean and modern this place looks since last catching a train 2 decades ago! Trains now are AMAZING, especially the safety components with an emergency phone at every station! The new Flinders Station is impressive
