My mum has been a resident at Chelsea Manor Care Community for nearly 2 years. She absolutely loves it! It is very clean and well maintained. The team are so loving and friendly towards my mum and they give her so much of their time whether it is just for a chat or her showing them her photographs etc. She receives excellent care and enjoys the wide variety of activities on offer. A bonus is there is now activities throughout the day on Saturdays and some on Sundays. My mum has made some lovely friends whom she interacts with daily but if she wants time on her own she has the most beautiful bedroom where she goes to. As the family, we know my mum is in very good hands and we are always welcome to pop in any time to visit her or take her out.

My Mum wasn’t just cared for at Chelsea Manor, she was loved. She moved when she was quite unwell/underweight and being there improved her health and enjoyment of life.
The management and staff do a wonderful job in looking after the residents needs and that was very reassuring for our family. It is also beautifully presented, doesn’t smell, is very clean and the views to the gardens are lovely.
Recently, we returned from a trip out. Mum was greeted with staff and residents saying hi and asking about what we had been doing. She turned to me and said ‘it’s just one, big, happy family here’ 😊
Don’t get me wrong, she found it hard at first, but she was supported to get involved in exercise groups and other activities and she got there. It just takes time to accept and the person needs to make the most of it (if they can).
I work in health and I hear many stories of older people still at home, but isolated and miserable. I know from our experience of Chelsea Manor that aged care can be a positive experience. My Mum couldn’t have coped much longer at home and she needed food prepared for her and good nursing care (and she was a nurse, a great one. She and we were very happy with the care she received right up until she died pain free and with dignity - the staff were just amazing).
Thankyou to everyone who cared for Mum, cooked her food, cleaned her room, laundered her clothes etc etc and treated her with respect and kindness. We cannot thank you enough.

It’s a terrible time in our lives when we need to move a parent into any care facility - so reading the reviews on various places assisted my sister and I with this huge decision
Can not speak highly enough of Julie and Gordana’s assistance with this very emotional decision
Anyone wanting the very best care and compassion shown to a parent will not need to second guess or ever doubt their decision in choosing Chelsea Manor. The care is wonderful, the rooms a very high quality, there is always something happening to occupy the residents and the food is absolutely excellent,

A very nice relaxed and friendly aged care facility. We found the staff most attentive and the rooms spacious and well lit. It has a hotel like quality and feel and all the residents appear happy and well cared for.

The most revolting experience. The staff abused my Grandparents till they passed away assisting my evil uncles in banning me from entering the property and neglecting my grandmothers wishes for me to sit with her while she was passing away. A nurse was rather aggressive during my Grandmothers passing my mother even witnessed this. I was threatened with police if I come near the place even though I had done nothing wrong and they hadnt witnessed any wrong doing of mine. They with held my gifts and cards & photos which I was advised were passed onto my grandparents & most definitely were not !! I found them stacked up in a box hidden in the office !!! Nothing had been passed onto them!! My Grandmother used to ask for me & they wouldnt let her talk or have anything to do with me. I was the closest to my Grandmother & Grandfather! They put him in a corner .. all of a sudden I was banned from seeing them and I did nothing wrong ! This has destroyed me emotionally all this !! Do not trust this facility!! They are abusers and liars !
