My child enjoyed this place a lot, and that's the most important thing, hence the 5 star review. Despite some aspects looking a bit dated and old, like the ride and the 4D cinema. The highlight was taking part in the Master builder session where we went through a guided task of putting a lego figurine together. We booked a 10.30 session online, but we arrived early and they kindly let us in before the allocated time. There is a cafe but we brought our own snacks.

A decidedly mixed experience. The entry fee is expensive, at $36 per person, and definitely overpriced considering the relatively small size of this discovery centre.

Inside, the Miniland, a Lego recreation of Melbourne's landmarks, is commendable and interesting (see photos), along with the theatre and gift shop; the staff is also friendly. However, the other attractions- two rides, a play centre, and a few other small exhibitions- are underwhelming and squarely for young children. The cafe offers only a rudimentary selection- I would definitely recommend dining elsewhere in Chadstone. One of the play facilities is also rather dilapidated (again see photo).

On balance, this discovery centre is not atrocious, but neither is it particularly memorable, and is certainly overpriced.

Expensive price. Less expensive experience. If you are a fanatic of Lego, this is your heaven.

If you go just for the kids, you are literally paying for an expensive day care.

The 4D was absolutely awful. It had very few effects and most of those effects were just getting soaked with cold water.

I usually don't say this but if you want a good time with the kids, probably go somewhere else, unless you love Lego.

Our visit to Legoland was a mixed experience. I would highly recommend checking with Legoland ahead of time to see if any school groups are scheduled. We arrived alongside a large group of excited excursion-goers, which created a very loud and eventually overwhelming environment for my little ones. As for attractions, there were only two rides, and while they were enjoyable, they were very short. The play centre was suitable for younger children, but older kids might find it limited. Once the school kids are on it, there's not much room for anyone else. The 4D movie was fantastic and definitely a highlight! The Build-It Workshop was also well-organised, giving kids a great hands-on experience. Overall, I would never pay $100+ to visit again.

Very nice place, lots of activities for kids of various ages. More active kids can run around the two indoor play areas. Otherwise, there are a few sections where kids can unleash their creativity and build their own stuff using the Lego blocks there.

The LEGO Center is an exceptionally friendly and outstanding play centre. My child, a LEGO fan, has been annual pass holder since the age of one and visits the soft play area almost every two weeks.
Now nearing five years old, we still come here weekly. The center offers a variety of activities, including 4D movies, LEGO minifigure swap events, two soft play centers, ride attraction, and workshops. My child’s favorites are the ride attraction and workshop, especially those led by Jono and Teddy. Both instructors are excellent, patient, and highly adored by my child. We hope they can develop even more LEGO-building activities in the future!

It was great!
BUT... It's a cashless venue! Which kinda sucks if you want to spend birthday money... so don't come with cash. Card all the way so u can spend spend spend! Lol and dont buy the crappy kids meal boxes. $25 stupid dollars. And the extra $10 activity thing is crap too. Other than that the whole place is amazing and worth the visit. The rides were great!

My 3 daughters and I spent about 4 hours here.

Upon entry, we received mini figures, which we were able to swap if we wished once inside.

There's 2 rides (free) as well as VR headsets ($10 per ride or $15 for 2).

There was a 4D cinema which we all really enjoyed.

We also attended a creative workshop where we made a skate park out of Lego.

There were multiple stations where you are able to play and create with Lego.

There's also a cafe with sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, ice creams, etc.

There's 2 playgrounds.

An underwater section where you can create your own mini movie.

The best part was the mini Melbourne land.
