Long-awaited opening of an alternative breakfast and lunch cafe did not disappoint. We were in early so it was easy to get a table but it got busy quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, the coffee arrived quickly and the food not long after. As you can see, they pay attention to detail and that comes out in the flavour and texture of the food too. The outside seating is also pet-friendly which helps with giving it a local community feel. We'll definitely be back.

We loved this place because it wasn’t just the typical dishes you usually find. We ordered snaper and lobster. Great portion size and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the warm and welcoming service. Highly recommend.

My partner & I live around the corner from this place. Amazing food with so much flavour and such generous servings. The service is so awesome, all the workers are super friendly and always make sure you’ve been looked after. Will definitely be our go to for weekend breakfasts and we can’t wait to try their dinner menu!

I ordered the Lobster Papardelle from the specials menu , and it was unbelievable ! A full half lobster with the most delicious sauce and such a great price too! Can’t wait to come back again . Presentation of our meals and the service was excellent . We come here often and it’s such a lovely chilled atmosphere with great food .

I recently visited Ministry kitchen & Bar, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming, rustic décor that made it feel like a cozy home away from home.

The menu offered a delightful array of breakfast options, I opted for the chilli crab scramble , which was perfectly cooked and filled with a generous portion.

The coffee was exceptional—rich and smooth, brewed from high-quality beans. Service was prompt and friendly, with staff going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.

Overall, Ministry kitchen exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast with friends or family, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

We ordered two coffees which were okay, nothing special. I tried to find a ham and cheese toastie or ham cheese and tomato toastie so when ordering for the coffees I asked if they had something like this. The person behind the counter said yes they could make one up.
I was grateful and after paying a total $36 for one small lactose free late with one extra shot of coffee and one large lactose free and the toastie.

Coffee came quick and when my toastie arrived not long after I was disappointed. Cheese wasn’t melted and the tomato pieces were cut quite thick and the tomato was super acidic it actually destroyed the experience of the toastie. I ate it because I was hungry but had to take out the tomatoes. I would say that toastie that has cheese should have cheese melted not still cold .. it was expensive for a very bad taste in your mouth. Shame as the actual customer experience was wrest.

Today, we decided to kick off our weekend with a breakfast outing at Ministry of Kitchen, but unfortunately, our experience was quite the opposite of what we had hoped for. We arrived at the cafe around 9:30 AM, but it took a while for the staff to even take our order. We finally received our coffees at 10:10 AM, and breakfast followed at 10:40 AM. We were willing to wait, thinking the food would be worth it.

We ordered the chilli scrambled eggs with toast and mushrooms, smashed avocado with hash browns, and chilli crab scramble. However, the experience was disappointing. The bread wasn’t toasted, the hash browns were clearly the frozen kind you’d get from Woolies, and the staff seemed unsure about whether my plate had mushrooms or crab. The chilli crab scrambled eggs were decent, but not really worth the price.

I understand that this place is new, but spending almost half a day at a cafe just for breakfast and coffee isn’t something most people can afford. While the effort and creativity are appreciated, the execution could have been much better. Best of luck moving forward.

Food is always amazing and staff are extremely friendly, attentive and prompt. My wife and I are always blown away by how good the food and coffee is, not to mention their reasonable prices in today’s climate. Will continue to support this fantastic small business!
