We visited the temple on January 1st, and as expected, it was quite crowded. However, the divine ambiance and peaceful atmosphere made the experience truly special. From the moment you enter, a sense of calmness surrounds you, creating a serene escape from the outside world.

The temple’s architecture is stunning and captivating, reflecting intricate details that leave you in awe. The surrounding gardens, children’s playgrounds, and the presence of peacocks enhance the overall charm and offer a vibrant and refreshing vibe.

Food is conveniently available within the temple premises at a very minimal cost, which is a big plus. However, do be prepared for a bit of a wait – the queue to place your order can take nearly an hour, and finding a seat during peak times can be challenging due to the crowds.

Overall, this temple is a wonderful place to visit, offering not just spiritual solace but also a delightful experience for all age groups.

Shiva Vishnu Temple is a peaceful and calming place. You can sit for hours, pray, or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. It’s well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing visit.

For first timers who want to visit this place is good 45min to 60min drive depending on traffic conditions from downtown. Public transport is almost twice as much time.

Even though there are clear signs posted not to wear footwear beyond a point, we Bharatians love to defy such notices and leave their footwear shamefully anywhere we like and in any disorderly manner we can. That place is very clean and won't hurt walking bare feet for short distance to see your favourite God or Goddess

Absolutely beautiful temple in close proximity from Melbourne. Big area and very neat and clean. Very peaceful place to spend some time. They a nice restaurant with lot of South Indian food option at a very cheap price. And there is an enclosure as well where you can see some beautiful peacocks.

Very nice and peaceful. The place has plenty of parking and an amazing cafe which serves South Indian food at very reasonable prices with comfortable seating for upto 300 people at any time.

Firstly as i enetered the premises, saw the bell infront of the gali gopuram(main entrance to temple)- when i rang that all the energy passed my body felt like i am in a famous pilgrim, thats where all the negative energy has busted out and filled with the divine energy. That was really the best part & tuned according to that positivity.

Its really a very peaceful place. Loved the experience and wibe & energy. Temple has good amount of place to walk around, not like the other temples in Victoria. It has very well maintained garden.

There was peacocks, honestly i loved watching that beautiful birds. Even that place inside was very well maintained.

Greenary and temple are two things well balanced and well maintained. Its amazing to see the greenary, which straightaway tunes to peace of mind from all the hustle life & rolls the red carpet to temple.

Canteen - The food in the canteen was soo fresh and soo delicious, where you enter you feel the smell of food. Even the food is soo delicious and soo fast. The prices were very low, group of 5 can finish all three course meal below 100$.
