Working for JAG as a CS&B consultant was rewarding. I was grateful to be able to work through all the lockdowns. My team leaders and manager were always supportive, understanding and patient.

Growth is possible if you show the willingness to learn. Training is always provided when you need it and team leaders are always willing to coach you in areas you feel like you need more focus.

I am sad to have left an amazing team to cater to my family’s circumstances.

Junior Adventures Group is a fantastic company to work for. I have worked for JAG (and OSHClub) for almost 7 years. No places of after school sessions were available for 2 days of every week at the beginning of June for the next academic year. Tried to book way in advance and no places were left via their website, I sent an email to check if more spaces will come up and got a vague reply. They need to increase their capacity of after school wrap around care provision which was an issue last year too as it's crucial for working parents to be able to pick up the kids later in the day.

Been working here since March 2021. I don't have any concerns apart from the fact that staff only get a 30 minute lunch break if working more than 6 hours in vac care, with no other breaks. This is concerning as it's a stressful job and we need our breaks. It's also illegal and the agreemeent for childcare services award says 2 paid rest breaks are also required for shifts of 7 or more hours. I don't know how they get away with this? Who do I contact about this?

I have enjoyed working at Junior Adventures Group since I started back in early 2012. It was a fantastic job to have as I was completing my University Degree, and then I decided that I would just stay on. I have progressed from a casual, to a coordinator of a service for three years, and have more recently joined the Regional Operations Coordinator team to better myself and gain more experience through visiting many different services and meeting so many different people.

Working with Junior Adventures Group has been a rewarding experience, with flexible hours and fantastic support from the management team. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

This organisation is an accident waiting to happen. Children left in the care of people with no qualifications what so ever. If a child got seriously injured this organisation would be sued through the roof. My daughter applied for a trainee ship and after only a month she was promoted to coordinator. She was told multiple times that we do not have the staff and was asked to work while ill. No duty of care to children or staff. Go Bendigo Greater region.

Having worked across a handful of organisations within this in the sector over the past 30 years, I can quite confidently speak to the positive experience that I have had and continue to have with JAG. The level of support and encouragement to develop areas of passion has been incomparable. Being heard and being a valued contributor to the organisation has also been refreshing. For my team, it has been a pleasure to see the investment this organisation has in its staff, their development and the opportunities for growth for them, from Educator level and beyond. Would highly recommend to anyone in the OSHC sector.
