I'm thrilled to have discovered Lake Purrumbete Cottages, thanks to a recommendation from Mick at Inland Charters. As a support worker, I was looking for a last-minute respite getaway for one of my participants, and Georgia's exceptional service made it all possible.

From the initial booking to our departure, Georgia was an absolute delight to deal with - friendly, accommodating, and understanding. The cottage itself was perfect - clean, neat, tidy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.

But what truly made our stay magical was the cottage's unique charm. The 100-year-old former jailhouse has been beautifully converted into a cozy home away from home, nestled in bushland and overlooking the stunning Lake Purrumbete.

Georgia exceeded the high standards promised by Mick, and I'm so grateful for her hospitality. I'm already looking forward to returning and relaxing in one of the cottages again soon. Thank you, Georgia, for an unforgettable experience!

Ah the serenity. What a lovely place to stay. So quiet & peaceful. The bird life here is amazing. There is everything here that you could possibly need. Very friendly hosts too & the Lake Edge Cafe is wonderful for a very nice lunch. Thank you !

We have stayed at the Purrumbete Cottages 3 times and always love the beauty and solitude of the place. The farm cottages are self contained with everything you would need, including reading matter and firewood.The owners are most friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

Such a peaceful and amazing little spot for a gateway. The cottage was adorable and has everything you need and Lois was very accommodating and super nice!

if you find yourself in camperdown vic, do yourself a favour and visit the lake edge café, on lake Purrumbete. it will be a delightful experience. the view is to die for, and the food is as well.
