Heytesbury House is perfect! My 3 siblings and I were revisiting Cobden where we grew up and we were so glad we stayed here. We were warmly welcomed by Kathryn and shown around this historical house which began as the local hospital and doctor’s surgery and residence. We were shown the 4 bedrooms and each was tastefully furnished, had private bathrooms with luxurious toiletries and comfy looking beds. There was also a sitting room, dining room and various seating areas on the veranda for our private use. We highly recommend taking up Kathryn and Andrew’s offer of an evening meal, 3 superb courses! The beds not only looked comfy, they were comfy and the house is on a quiet street so we all had an excellent night’s sleep. Then it was back to the dining room for breakfast and there was an amazing range of breakfast options to choose from. And just as dinner was superb , so was breakfast. Thank you Kathryn and Andrew, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

We had the best time at the Heytesbury house for our new year's. The place is exquisite, the town is peaceful and the environment is fabulous. We felt spoiled and special, absolutely recommend to get away from the very busy sightings and towns along the great ocean road.

So, i booked a one night stay at Heytesbury House. I was really looking forward to the stay and the scones!|Unfortunately, i had to cancel my stay due to family commitments back home. |I tried to cancel online but as i booked directly, I couldn't find a cancellation button on their website. When i called twice, Kathryb claimed she hadn't received my email requesting for cancellation. However, we realised that the issue stemmed from hotmail. Once i resent my request via gmail, she immediately submitted through the portal and i could see both an email cancellation and refund amount pending in my card issuer statement.||I used to be in hospitality and had to managed booking platforms and host guests from overseas. As a host, she has been very friendly and understanding throughout my phone conversations with her. I am disappointed I don't get to visit her and explore her home. Hopefully a next trip. ||Thank you Ms Kathryn!

Heytesbury house was an all round delight for my family and I. Accomodation was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, the food was delicious, great coffee and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. My family and I would stay there again any time we have the need to be near Cobden. The children commented on the way home about, "when can we stay there again" they loved the books and games provided for children in the beautiful sitting room.

We stayed here about 3 years ago and when we got an opportunity to return we were again blown away. It is an absolute gem. Quiet location. Gardens are beautiful. Meticulously clean. Attention paid to every detail. The Alfred Suite has an upstairs nook - where we whittled away an afternoon with a sip of red wine. Breakfast is first class. Next time we would arrange to have dinner in-house so we can stay within the confines of this luxurious bubble. Highly recommend.
