The room was very comfortable. Old bathroom but clean and well appointed.
Air conditioning was quiet, which was great as it was such a hot weekend .
Nice to have a microwave, although I didn't use it.
Also nice to have a comfy couch, sure beats sitting on the bed. Table and chairs were also great.

The queen bedroom was nice. The room had a two-seater couch and table and chairs as well as a microwave which was great. Comfortable seating is aways a bonus. The air conditioner was quiet and most effective on the very hot weekend.|The bathroom was old but clean and well presented, with adequate amenities. The shower was hot, with good pressure. pricing was reasonable.

I had a lovely stay. The room was comfy and clean. The shower was very relaxing. The staff went out of their way to quickly accommodate me. They were very friendly and helpful. Only a very short walk to a few great cafes. Good pool. Overall,it was a nice place to stay. I had a good experience and would recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious, not overdone with furniture. The location is on a major outgoing road but the traffic noise was minimal. The location is good, tucked under a tree covered hill, ample car space/s outside the front door and just a few minutes from town. The cleaners were available every morning but not necessary, a sign to say "Thankyou my room does not need cleaning" would be handy to hang on the door. It was a nice surprise to see the bed made properly and benches wiped down though. Very good value for money.

Very nice. Had a family room. Very spacious and the shower was probably the best I've had in motel accommodations ever. Was not far from shops with plenty of food options to choose from. Will definitely stay here again if traveling through 👍

This motel is wonderful. Extremely clean, fresh, comfortable beds, rooms are spacious, plenty of car parking, and very easy and close walk into main town. Owners are very friendly, and will take time out for a chat. The external areas are very clean indeed, and it is clear the owners take great pride to upkeep this motel. There Is a pool, and a little BBQ area, which was a nice surprise bonus. We had the nicest time at Castle Motel, and would recommend to any friends and family wanting a getaway in Castlemaine.

I have stayed at this motel several times, primarily because of its location. While the rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, and the facilities (fridge, toaster, tea & coffee making facility, iron etc) are good, the rooms are definitely in need of an update and renovation, or at the very least a healthy dose of maintenance. As a couple, we each had a large bath towel, and yet the only place to hang wet towels was one hook and a nail on the back of the door. No towel rail. A smaller hand towel in the bathroom would also have been appreciated. Other then that, we had a comfortable stay, and will return when next in Castlemaine
