I just had a brilliant stay at the Green Gables King Suite. The decor is absolutely beautiful, exactly the style I would choose for myself. As fun as it was getting out and exploring Castlemaine, I always looked forward to coming back at the end of the day, to be in such a lovely and comfortable place. It was also very nice to have my own balcony and garden to look over, especially in the summer evenings when it doesn't get dark until later. I felt very safe and secure with the number key pad style of lock. It was always very quiet, especially at night, where it very much felt like being the only person in the building. The walking distance to town and attractions were reasonable, the amenities were great, and the staff were always very efficient and considerate. Donna even went out of her way to check on me and make sure I wasn't being disturbed, when they had to do some sort of repair work elsewhere in the building one day. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the beautiful Union St all i can say is WOW, a beautiful home with the most amazing vibe! Clean, comfiest beds, great linen, all the kitchen appliances and utensils you need! Great bathrooms and the most amazing air conditioning in every room!! We stayed when it was very hot and the whole house was sooooo cool!! Hosts Donna & Rod were amazing, great communication and made sure we had everything we needed. We travel a lot for work and would have to say this is one of the best. Can’t wait to stay again or try one of the other amazing properties they have! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I find the Loft cozy, walking distance to shops .the only problem is the bathroom,Did not like the shower recess.I find it a bit claustrophobic and this type of shower recess does not match the rest of the house. maybe a small fan for the bedroom to air the room, I am asthmatic, its hard when there is no opening.saying that, Yes, I will come again but most probably in your lovely terraces next to the loft. thank you. A beautiful suite with private entrance and patio overlooking a garden that is perfectly located. A short walk to shops, restaurants and the train station. Easy check in and prompt hosts. We highly recommend you consider Green Gables if in Castlemaine.
