I attended a wedding here and was impressed! The venue is beautiful and elegant, with a beautiful foyer for mingling and a spacious dance floor. The entrées and desserts were sooo delicious, and the mains tasted decent. Plus, there are plenty of gorgeous photo spots 🤩

Amazing venue! Everything was so organised and seamless from start to finish. Ashley was an amazing event coordinator and was so easy to communicate with. She was so helpful and made it really easy for us to stay on track. Our event host Stella was also very lovely! Unfortunately I was sick on our wedding day but the team was super accomodating and even made me a couple of saltwater gargles 😂. The venue and ambience was stunning and speaks for itself + there were also great spots for pics! Thank you to everyone at Leonda for hosting the wedding of our dreams!!

We had our wedding reception at Leonda by the Yarra, and from the very beginning, the team was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and attentive to our needs. They were responsive throughout the entire planning process, making sure they understood our vision for the day. Every question we had was answered promptly, which helped make the whole experience much less stressful.

Leading up to the big day, they were proactive in coordinating everything—not just with us but also with our vendors, which was a huge help. The venue itself was perfect for our wedding, with a spacious and well-laid-out design that comfortably accommodated our large guest list. One of the highlights was the option for a boat departure, which was such a unique and memorable way to end the night.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Leonda and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-organized wedding venue!

We recently celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at the stunning Leonda by the Yarra, hosted by the wonderful team at Melbourne Event Group. From our initial visit to the venue to the end of our celebration, everything was seamless and professionally managed.
The food was incredibly tasty, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. We couldn't be happier or more grateful for making our event such a success. We had specifically requested a table arrangement which was well executed by the team.
A big thank you to Daniele, Kendall, and Tom. Kendall kept us informed of all choices and progress leading up to the event, and Tom kept us at ease on the day, ensuring everything went smoothly without any issues.
Special thanks to the chef for creating the most delicious food that everyone enjoyed, the servers who ensured everyone was well-fed, and the bar attendants for their amazing cocktails. The staff always had a smile and were just fabulous with their service.
It was a truly memorable day at Leonda.

From the day my (now) husband and I walked into Leonda by the Yarra we knew this was going to be where we got married.

We were looking for a small intimate space and the garden room looked to be the perfect size for our wedding. I made a simple online enquiry about the space and was warmly greeted by Melanie who was super enthusiastic about showing all Leonda had to offer.

Melanie took great care in responding to the questions I had with regards to the Venue. On the first meeting we had, Melanie went through all the inclusions that Leonda had to offer, she really understood our culture and what we would value most on our wedding day.

What stood out the most during our meeting was the offering of the Leonda's dedicated team.

She was not wrong, our Wedding day coordinator Ashley Price went above and beyond with helping us get ready for the perfect wedding. There was no enquiry/request too big or small that Ashley would do her best to accommodate.

Our guest felt immediately welcomed as they entered the space. The room was roaring with happy guest and loud conversations. The team took special care of the Bridal to make sure the day was seamless.

One of the greatest days of our lives, thank you Leonda and Team 🙂

From the moment we began planning, their team (special mention to Alex our co-ordinator) was incredibly supportive, offering invaluable guidance that made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The wedding reception was truly exceptional from start to finish! Our journey began with Zoe, who warmly showed us the venue and set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day. Maria's meticulous organisation beforehand ensured every detail was flawlessly executed. On the day, Chris and the attentive staff were phenomenal hosts, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. The menu tasting night was not only enjoyable but also instrumental in helping us select our perfect menu. The food surpassed all expectations with its delicious flavors.

The garden room was absolutely stunning, intimate yet glamorous with its floor-to-ceiling glass and elegant garden views. The staff's dedication made the entire planning process effortless and stress-free. I wish we could relive it all over again – it truly was the perfect reception!

The night was really good the service was amazing unfortunately the food was not..
We had dietary requirements that were just not catered for instead we just missed out. Was an alternating menu, chicken and stake. The chicken and sides had in it what we couldn't have on our table so we got an eye fillet stake and a light salad that's it no substantial sides were made for us. Everyone on our table left hungry unfortunately.
The eye fillet stake was over cooked and very dry.
Desert
The hazelnut citrus chocolate ball didn't taste as good as it sounded. The flavours just didn't go together. I was disappointed in the food but the night was good the service was amazing except the food side of things. Not sure I'd choose this place based on my experience but you might consider it for the views alone, which were amazing.

Thank you for the reply.. so I just want to clarify that the allergen was for rosemary if the person on our table even smelt it, they would have been sent to hospital for an asthma attack so it was not a preference but more a life saving request..
As for the stake, my stake was dry and over cooked how ever the person next to me had a better cooked stake. They were not consistent some were cooked perfect some were dry i don't think our host wanted that!! The sides we got were the same sides of salad everyone else got but because there was no alternative to rosemary covered food you just gave us nothing.. all I am saying is you could have prepared food with no rosemary on it for the tale as per the request but this is such a strange allergen you just did not cater for us and your chef thought he knew better. So in short if you have dietary requirement you need to be clear on your expectations not leve it up to thier discresion on how to deal with it.. anyway in short I would not choose this venue for a food function personally based on my experience and thier inability to except they dropped the ball on this occasion makes me not want to go back at all..
