Off the main drag, yet very accessible to everything. And immaculate! Hosts are so accommodating!

My son and I recently stayed in this delightful cottage. The furnishings were quirky but in a good way. Jenny was very friendly and helpful and had bread baking when we arrived. There was also a lovely aromatherapy oil burning in the foyer which was welcoming. The house is opposite a lovely big park and not far from the lake (which was very handy for the Ironman triathlon which my son was entered). The massage chair was a big hit with my athlete son and also with me. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and breakfast supplies were provided for the first day but there was more than enough food for two people. The house was very clean so i don't know why one person reviewed the house as dirty. The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a family then i would recommend Tranquility Cottage. I don't know about any strong smell coming from the therapy room as it was not in use when we stayed. If you are after a shining new apartment to stay in then this cottage is not for you but if you are after a homely place to stay then I would recommend Tranquility Cottage. I forgot to mention that light pollution is very low so the night sky is very bright if you are into star gazing.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed here for the weekend during the winter school holidays. We absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in Tranquility (there are different houses), a 2 bedroom house that was huge. The hosts had bread cooking in the bread maker for us, breakfast was provided (enough for the 2 days), milk, juice and heaps of fruit. The decor is like stepping back in time - we loved it. The beds all had electric blankets and were super comfy. In the lounge is a massage chair - we had to fight who got to go in it!! The location is about 5 min drive from town. There was a gas heater and aircon in the bedroom - enough to keep the whole house warm. Kitchen has everything you need (cutlery, plates, cookware etc). We would definitely stay here again if coming to Ballarat.

Its like stepping back in time. There were furnishings so cool we took photos of them. A bench top dishwasher that was so original and cool it's an antique, a freestanding telephone and stunning little China plates and quality drapes. Its incredibly comfortable and luxurious. Allot of time and effort has gone into making this place as comfortable and 'old school homely' as possible. It was freezing cold in December and we were super comfortable with a gas fire, spa and sauna.. even the massage chair got a workout. Both my partner and I are seasoned travellers and normally go for a modern suite however this certainly embraced the area and climate. Would love to come back. Super relaxed and fresh. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay. It was a home away from home. Comfortable and cozy. Jenny is a lovely person always willing to help.
The aqua massage is a must to try so relaxing.
I recommend it to anyone that wants to find comfort in a new place. We will return 😁

We arrived to the smell of bread cooking, wonderful. Beautiful place. Loved the decor. Beds were warm and comfy. The gas log fire was so inviting. Loved the aviary hearing the birds in the morning. Overall juat a great quiet and peaceful holiday. Have already recommended to family and friends. We are going back later in the year. Jennifer is so lovely and accommodating.

We needed to be in Ballarat for a wedding at 2pm. Although check in time is 2pm we needed to change ofcourse. Jenny was so helpful and had the cottage ready by 11.30 for us to use. What a bonus! It felt more like staying with relatives it was so welcoming. A lovely clean spacious homely place. We would definitely stay there again if we ever need to return to Ballarat.

Had very comfortable stay at Green Parklands Jenny the host was very obliging and helpful. Liked the smell of cooking bread on arrival and found the decor charming. Massage chair was great and found the bed very comfortable. Enjoyed hearing birds in morning.
