Very nice receptionist. But far from friendly female ultrasound specialist with no people skills whatsoever in an environment of care and where patients come in with their health concerns.
Advice...Put yourself in your patients shoes and have an awareness of how they may be feeling whilst in your hands for that brief moment when you're assessing them.
Waiting room needs a good make over.

I attended this Express Cardio -service at 496 Elgar Rd, Box Hill North in this afternoon at 4:15 PM 20 April 2023

The thing shocked me is the clinic arranged a reception girl to perform an ECG test.

The girl even does not know how to apply the 10 electrodes. She did not do any measurement and marks. she applied the electrodes on my Rt side lower chest and some electrodes were left open and were not attached to anywhere.

No any electrodes were applied to my lower legs and arms. I as a patient have to tell the girl where the 4 electrodes to be placed on my both legs and arms.

By the time I realized the girl is not a trained and qualified nurse at all but she was allocated to perform electro cardio gram for a patient who has cardiac disease. The girl admitted she is not a nurse but instructed by manager to do the ECG job.

I asked the girl to change a qualified nurse to perform the ECG for me but she refused to do so. She stated she had completed her job and produced 3 ECG reports. She stated the first report was produced without applying electrodes to legs and arms.

I know my GP will still receive an ECG report under my name that was done totally incorrectly and might lead to misdiagnosis of heart disease.

The clinic is risking patient's life and health !

25th May 2023: I'm appalled at your lying in public in your reply as of today 25th May 2023.
On 20th April the reception girl was still using an old version ECG machine. She found the ECG machine did not produce ECG waves appropriately, looking around and did not know what to do. Then I had to sat up and personally checked and corrected the mistakes made by the girl that a few electrodes were attached to my Right side lower chest and some electrodes were left open. Finally the girl followed my instructions and attached 4 electrodes to legs and arms.

Are you able to explain that few electrodes were attached to my Right side lower chest and some electrodes were left open are correct ECG test operation / practice ?

Surprisingly until now I have not received the ECG tracings even upon the GP 's request.

I always received my ECG reports and tracings promptly from other clinic in past 10 years.
