Kaye our host was there to greet us , with freshly baked bread!
Then we had the run of the property which was beautiful to sit out under the pergola next to the lake, watching the nature around us. Accommodation was perfect, clean and homely, with a good size spa!
Definitely recommend for a romantic weekend or just to relax, will be back.

It was perfect. We attended a NYE function nearby and the cottage was just around the corner. Host is great. Cottage is huge and has everything you need and more. Stunning gardens, beautiful sun room. Would recommend to anyone.

I stayed here last year when my husband planned a surprise getaway. This place is breathtakingly beautiful and a gorgeous place to propose to someone. My husband actually asked me to marry him here at night on the lit up gazebo. Everything about the proposal was perfect. We got a couples massage, went out locally, and then was led out on the gazebo when we got back. I will forever remember this wonderful day and lovely stay! There are stunning views from the cottage, so many options to have for breakfast, and the homemade bread is to die for! We are looking forward to coming back here again. Thank you for making our stay so fantastic and our proposal something out of a fairytale. First time I've ever booked at a place and been greeted with freshly baked bread on the counter and basic food supplies in the fridge. The Lakeside Cottage is a fantastic place for couples to spend a night away and represents great value given the amenities provided. Wish we stayed longer than the one night and this has definitely become our first pick for the next time we stay in the area!

Kaye was amazing with helping to plan my partners surprise birthday get away. The heater was on when we got there, fresh food in the fridge and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom if we needed it. The fact the spa was readily available as well was perfect and topped off our night. Kaye set up the room amazingly and had petals over the bed and spread in the bathroom as well, she also had a bottle of champagne for us in the room as part of the additional cost. I will return to Lakeside Cottage again any time the big city starts to become too much. I'll recommend this B&B to all my friends because of the great service Kaye gave, the location and also the overall presentation fo the cottage. Thanks again Kaye 🙂

We went to stay at this beautiful cottage for our 3rd wedding anniversary. This was the first time we were staying in a B&B trype accomodation and hence we did not go with very high hopes.||But, we were in for a very nice surprise. This was one of the nicest accomodation we have stayed. Ample of space for our 18 month old son to run around both inside and outside. There was everything in the cottage from coffee machine to 3D tv.||Kaye was very welcoming and baked a beautiful bread for us as well. I would very highly recommend this place to anyone. I am so glad we went. I loved the SUNROOM!!||VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Stayed there for one night with the hubby. Amazing surroundings with lake and manicured gardens. Cottage itself was the best accommodation I have been to-with all the supplies you can ever need: toileteries, kitchen supplies, good wifi, massive array of brekkie stuffs, a big spa and a very warm hostess. This place looks as good, if not better in real life as in the pictures. Will definitely go back and recommend!!!
