I had my daughter’s 21st Birthday Party up in the function room on Saturday night. It’s a perfect area for a large party with approximately 80 people attending. The catering and food was excellent. Jay the Manager did a great job. He was so attentive and well organised. Everything ran so smoothly. I could just relax. With a full open bar the total cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend !

We recently held our son's 21st birthday in the private room upstairs. I would like to thank Jay and Mickey for their personal and professional service. The guys worked hard and ensured our guests were looked after.
The plattered food was excellent and we were well fed.
Great space, amazing staff, professional yet down to earth service and overall, an excellent night.

This place has great food, and great service. They are a consistent 4.5/5 pub fare food.

They are always accommodating of my swaps - my potatoes and veg instead of chips and salad were at no additional charge. We keep coming back.

We all know that this venue is poker machine orientated but went there on steak night for $30 special I know I should have known better

The public bar last had money spent on it last century but staff are happy and long suffering pros

Steak arrived quickly which was a bad sign and as expected a disaster

Presented on a raised triangle plate that meant all ingredients pushed to middle of plate and unable to get flat plate to cut steak
Steak was rare, indelible and because of so many uncooked sinews unable to be cut with cutlery I had to locate at bar

Steak had char from a dirty grill, chips from dirty oil and wilted sorry excuse of salad

Worst meal ever

Afraid to eat

Can bayside council do an inspection soon

Iv best to this hotel a few times, the first time I had super fresh oysters, and some calamari/squid it was super yummy. This time my partner and I where a little hungry so we shared the paella 🥘 it was tasty fresh seafood really yummy! It’s not the cheapest when coming to drinks and ect, but the staff are nice so it makes up for it.
