Got up in a subaru outback with road tires. There was a 4wd haval that also made it. But would only do it in a decent 4wd if it was wet. I'd take a AWD but wouldn't recommend it if you don't have any offroad experience... view is very obstructed, no view of the town.

This amazing lookout is up a steep 4WD track only, but is well sign posted. A good off road 4WD will have no problems with the drive, but suggest engaging low range early and use it for your decent. The avid trekker is rewarded by beautiful views of Bright, Mt Bogong and the valleys surrounding them. It is 100% worth it. But leave the SUV at the bottom of the hill.

It's ok, if you don't regularly walk to have some conditioning then maybe not for you, as track is uneven and steep in parts. But by all means have a go though,.. And the lookout at the top is hindered by tree growth somewhat to make it a "must see" One of the 2 main lookouts overlooking bright from what I can tell. If you have time on your trip to bright go for it, otherwise your better off using this time on mount buffalo walking tracks.

This track to lookout is only for 4x4 vehicles and is very steep. You can use a walking trail to the lookout if you are in a sedan. There is a mobile tower there and not much space for more than 5 cars. The lookout is nice and you can have a good view of the town.
If you have love easy to medium offroad then you will surely like the this short 4x4 track.

Nice drive up the hill, easy enough in dry weather, possible in an AWD, not suited to 2wd’s

Nice little lookout over Bright. Easy for a high clearance 4wd but wouldn’t recommend much less

Good place to go and checkout the view over Bright and the surrounding area. The view can be obstructed in spots though. The 4wd came in handy to get there as certain areas are challenging if you are walking. And there is even a couple of seats to sit down. I wouldn't recommend if your in a car though.

Quite steep and rough going up, you wouldn't make it in a sedan, it's 4WD only unfortunately, but wow! What a view when you get there, beautiful overlooking Bright and Wandilligong, a few walking paths up there for different vantage points and a couple of park benches and tables too
