Our company ordered 50 x Raw Hide Leather menu covers from Menucorp. We dealt with Tony Phanvongsa. The cost of the menu covers was $49.40 each, not cheap and therefore you expect a high quality product and a great result. We also trusted in the company as they listed company's such as Crown Casino's, Rydges and Hilton Hotels on their website as clients.

I clearly explained to Tony that we were working to a deadline and that we would be using the menu covers immediately in our new restaurant when they arrived.

We have now recieved the menu covers and they will not stay closed as they are very stiff and do not have any form of fold or pleat in the leather.

I contacted Tony regarding the problem and this was his response "Try pressing the spine just with your hands to get it flatter. Try turning the menu inside out and press down the spine or weighing down the spine. Or you could try use leather softener on the menu’s. Hope this helps". How ridiculous!

We have done this for the last 24 hours (in vain) and the menu covers are still the same, see photo taken 24 hours later. It seems that the menus may take many weeks to soften / stay closed and then we may be able to use them, hopefully. But right now we have spent $2,500 on menu covers that we are not able to use which has put us in a terrible predicament.

If we had of known that these menu covers would not be able to be used for weeks after delivery we obviously would have went for a different option, this is critaical information that Tony should have told us, but chose not to. Menucorp have acted unethically and have deliberately mislead us into buying a product that we cannot use.

I emailed Tony yesterday expressing my disappointment but I have heard nothing back.

Do not deal with this company.

We could not be happier with the finished product of our menu covers - but we are equally as thrilled with the service provided by Toni and the team. From the very beginning Toni was very friendly and knowledgeable, helping us with all our questions and steering us in the right direction. Their prices were the best we had found but the quality of the finished product was extemely high. I placed an order with Menu Corp, providing a photo of a product they had previously produced for another business to articulate the desired finish required by my client. Unfortunately the product that arrived was not a replica of what was requested and was damaged upon arrival.

I reached out to Menu Corp to rectify the damage and moreover to bring the product into line with requested specifications. Requests to rectify were rudely refused and further requests thereafter to return the products (which are not of merchantable quality) have been refused and then ignored.

I have been left out of pocket, with a product that cannot be used by myself, nor my client. I would not recommend using a company with such little integrity in their work and moreover a lack of ethics in their business dealings.

Approved an order and made payment upfront on the 27th of May, then get contacted by email 2 WEEKS LATER following up on why I haven't approved the job!?!
The wait time on a job is 15-20 working days so I was already expecting the job to be ready for dispatch by then. They left me hanging for the whole weekend as to why the job hadn't been processed yet and I had to follow up ANOTHER week later to get an ETA on delivery.
I finally got the menus A MONTH after ordering them, the quality was good BUT THEY WEREN'T EVEN ASSEMBLED!?!
