We were so lucky to have perfect conditions, saw a baby whale and it’s mum really put on a show and the crew was fantastic at anticipating the whales, what they would do, what to look out for, even showed us the best spots to stand on the boat for a great view. Harrison especially knew so much about the whales, their migration and lives and was happy to share and chat with us. Shout out to Sam the seal, the happy whale photographers and of course our amazing skipper who worked so hard to make sure we saw heaps of wildlife and gave great narration about the area, history and of course so many whale facts. 11/10

We had a wonderful 2 days out on the water with Cat Balou. (2nd day was half price). We saw many humpback whales (and briefly a dwarf minke whale), common dolphins, seals, penguins, albatross, gannets. The highlight by far were the whales - we witnessed pectoral fin slapping, tail slapping, breaching, spy hopping. Some were just as curious of us, as we were with them. Staff were informative, boat was a good size, sea was fairly calm which made for an excellent couple of whale watching trips.

We loved it. We saw lots of whales and other marine life.

The BEST advice I can give is to make sure everyone takes travel sickness tablets, including kids. Otherwise you won't enjoy it.

Absolutely amazing! The crew are very knowledgeable and know exactly where to find the whales. We saw heaps and had the best time. Just make sure you take sea sickness tablets before you go (this is a must!)

The cruise was fantastic for seeing the whales! We were lucky because they were sooo active! The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is the commentary. I missed the type of commentary they had in past years. It used to be more informative and more continuous, talking about all we could see including more information about the whales and also about the albatrosses, shearwaters, dolpins and seals.
Even so, overall it was a great experience.

The trip and the crew were amazing and I couldn’t recommend them enough, we saw plenty of whales with many of them breaching and the boat was close enough for all the passengers to see and take plenty of photos. The trip I came out on left on a particularly windy day with big waves and once the crew noticed I wasn’t comfortable they made sure to check up on me and reassure me about the safety of the boat. I can’t place into words how thankful I am to Hannah and Brent for calming me down, they were a great part of the trip for me and I’m sure the other passengers too.
