I recently completed a course at Simple Dive, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! A huge thank you to instructor Oscar and his team for their professionalism, attention to detail, and the friendly atmosphere they created.

Oscar is a true expert in his field. Not only does he have extensive knowledge of diving, but he also has an amazing ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way. Thanks to his guidance and support, I felt confident and safe every step of the way. The rest of the team at Simple Dive was equally fantastic—helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist.

The equipment provided was in excellent condition, and the entire process was flawlessly organized. Every session was well-structured yet relaxed, making the learning process not only effective but also highly enjoyable.

I wholeheartedly recommend Simple Dive to anyone looking to explore the world of diving. A big thanks to Oscar and his amazing team for this unforgettable experience!

I completed my certification with SimpleDive Melbourne last month, and it was one of the hardest personal challenges I have ever done, but was incredibly rewarding to do!

Conditions were quite rough in the water for 3 of our 4 open water certification dives, poor visibility 1-3 meters for the first two and stormy weather that appeared while we were underwater for the third one. Despite the poor visibility, the instructors kept track of everyone well, ensured we were paired and knew that they’d come back to see us demonstrate each skill soon, and were calm in letting me re-attempt the mask-filled-with water skill when it took me more time. During the stormy day they guided us on a safe route back to the pier stairs which kept us safe from the surge that may have otherwise thrown us against the pillars and injured us.

They were extra attentive and helped me improve my swimming and breathing methods and even gave advice for my future post-certification dives with other shops. It’s clear they care a lot about their divers continuing to improve and take great care to ensure you can demonstrate each skill safely before obtaining the certification. The entire rest of my family is scared of swimming so I get nervous at times, but because my training was so thorough I can remember immediately my preparation and feel calm and enjoy my dives. I would recommend them to anyone in the Melbourne area, after they are the reason I was able to see such incredible sea life diving West Australia’s Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef! (All pictures from there as I didn’t bring a camera on any of my certification dives in Melbourne)

Just completed our dive refresher course with Kally for a future dive in Okinawa. It was held on a Saturday and in Box Hill which was convenient for those living in the East. Booking was easy through a website and liaising with Oskar via email.

You can see Kally’s passion and excitement for diving through her teaching. We were a pair with an advanced open water (inactive for a year) and found the session engaging and informative.

There was also a new student going through an open water course and Kally was very patient and encouraging throughout the theory and dive session.

The gear provided for the refresher course was of high quality and maintained very well.

After Theory we took a lunch break and head down to Box Hill Aqualink for practicals. It was a 1.8m pool which was adequate for all the refresher scuba skills from mask removal to buoyancy (stay at 1m).

I would definitely recommend and choose to dive with Kally and Oskar to see the sea life living in Victoria waters in the future.

Also there was a very cute and experienced 6 month old dive master Bubble but it was his off day that day so didn’t teach us anything.

All the Staff like Oscar, Kally, Emma, Sam, Sean are very helpful, professional, patient, and nice! During my OW course today, I accidentally sliced my finger in the ocean by some kind of shell, Emma helped to spray some magic medicine and healed it! I become more and more confident day by day, by asking them lots of questions in detail and they all explained very clearly! Very nice experience and BIG RECOMMEND!

I completed my OW course with Simple Dive and I highly recommend Simple Dive for anyone planning to get certified!
My course instructors were Oskar and Kally. Both of these two were excellent teachers. Especially Kally she was extremely patient and supportive when I did my first boat dive(lots of anxieties plus sea sickness). Nothing but great things to say about the experience overall!!! 🙂

If you're looking to become PADI certified in Melbourne, look no further than Simple Dive. Absolutely outstanding expertise, support and guidance from our dive instructors Kally and Oskar for my first time scuba diving! My wife and I just finished our three day PADI OW course with Simple Dive, and we absolutely loved every minute of it. I really appreciated their strong attention to detail (that others might miss or dismiss) and the skill of these two divers. They are so calm underwater! It's very obvious they have many years of experience and as fully certified dive instructors they both understand how to communicate strongly and effectively, while keeping the training fun and engaging. Experience wins at the end of the day, and Oskar and Kally both have many years of it under their belts. They took excellent care of us both, one step at a time and I never felt rushed. We look forward to diving with them again in the future. Wishing their wonderful team all the best!

Really great experience for anyone wanting to do a scuba course. Had lots of fun and found the instructors to be very kind and professional in and put of the water in regards to setting up equipment and eventually buying your own. Definitely would recommend.
