Nice accommodation with parking below. Many rooms have balconies with nice view. RSL 2 doors down, Cafe right outside reception, large park easy 300m walk, nice place to stay, rooms are quiet. Elevators are fast.

Actually, it is not the hotel. Residence. If you consider this residence, you must have thinking about the service. We had to clean not only the room ourselves everyday, but washing the towels. Lots of dust remained under the table and the top of the trash can, and I could find very easily someone others hair on the bed. I know I should’ve checked twice time it was residence, not hotel. But the reception woman told me unkindness. Anyway the swimming pool was so nice view and totally not bad. Have fun-

Wow! So impressed with our stay. The two men at the front desk were friendly and attentive, the hotel is very nice looking. We stayed on the 10th floor- nice views over the mountains.|The beds were extremely comfortable, dual head shower was lovely and the infinity pool and rooftop spa are not to be missed!||We loved our stay and would highly recommend staying here.|Just to note the parking is tight getting into in the basement with a large car but to be expected.||Also would be handy in a 2 bed apartment to have another towel hook in bathroom- only one towel rail for four ppl..

Everything was mostly perfect. But it seems the balcony was never cleaned since these apartments were built! The oven was very dirty too. The only dissatisfying thing is cleanliness. Anyway, this is a very good place to stay.

Never stay here. Worst customer service i have ever encountered with no empathy.
My room had alarm sirens going off and was told it was due to a power surge. Told to put towels down against the front door or water bottles To counteract the air flow. I'm sorry, what?!.
Again called and eventually someone came to my room and realised it was a fault. No apology.
Then, my room could not provide the network tv service. Took 2 technicians to tell me that, but still could not resolve.
Still no compensation from the hotel, nor have I still not received my $100 deposit refund back after 15 days. Absolute joke.
Do not stay here!!!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Avani Boxhill. Cleanliness of the apartment we stayed in is way below average - dirty utensils, glasses and plates were seen. Dusty surfaces could be seen and it was extremely dirty below bed and sofa. Soiling marks were found in the toilet seat and rubbish bin next to it. Overall very poor!

We asked for late checkout during our stay at the 2 BR superior suite with 2 young children for 4 nights, the staff were not sympathetic at all and declined our request. We have stayed at many other hotels previously - and have always been extended the courtesy of late check out (1 hr extra) for similar circumstance. We found other people posting similar reviews about staff declining of late check out for young families.

The only good thing was the location near boxhill central - but we could find other hotel/accommodation around the area and would likely now stay elsewhere.

Wi-fi was not working during our stay, and no apologies were offered. Only after we mentioned this in the written feedback - we were given $5 per night refund for the inconvenience.

We came over for a basketball tournament. It was awesome having the kids in a seperate room and a washing machine available. The rooftop pool / spa was a hit with the kids. The underground car park is really tight, so be careful parking larger SUVs.

Do not stay. I usually stay at a hotel across the road, but thought I would try this place. As it was my first stay I was advised if I sign up to the loyalty programme I'd get late checkout at 1PM. The next day at 11.30AM staff came to our room saying we had to leave immediately and that we would be charged a late fee if it took us longer than 15 minutes to pack our things and leave. While I imagine it may have been some kind of miscommunication, and we were happy to leave immediately, the staff were incredibly rude and hostile, even though we complied and intended to leave well before the advised checkout time. Best to stay at the Chen as its closer to the station and the staff won't kick you out/threaten you with a late fee (despite granting you late checkout verbally at check-in).
