I will never again book with this company and I would suggest you find another option if possible. They are happy to take your money for a premium service but not provide the customer service or bus service that comes with the price tag!
While the driver was punctual and bus accommodated our group of 11, it was 31° and there was no aircon in the van and no windows at the back that opened which is absolutely unacceptable in summer in Australia. People were severely dehydrated and unwell as the drive to the Yarra Valley is about 1:30 each way. All up we were in the van for about 3.5 hours. It felt like we were all sitting in a sauna. It actually felt hotter inside the van than outside. The driver said the fan was on but it barely did anything besides push around the hot air inside the van.
Additionally, the driver took two wrong turns and took a strange way back to Melbourne which normally would not have bothered us except it prolonged our trip that much longer in the horrendous heat.
I raised the issue with Harlan bus tours afterward and they acknowledged the aircon was broken; however offered no compensation to our group. Instead they offered us a credit for the next booking. Not providing any compensation to the people who had to endure the experience and giving the potential future guests the discount does not at all make sense as we all chipped in for the cost which was $880.

After issues with another bus company we contacted Harlan on short notice looking for alternative travel arrangements. They swiftly looked after us providing good prices and concurrent communications.

On our way to the event there were mechanical issues with our bus putting us behind schedule, however the company handled this professionally and as quick as they could.

Furthermore, when we were at our event it was cancelled due to an emergency and the company provided us with a variety of options on short notice.

Even with all the circumstances of our trip, Harlan handled it professionally and were always available to contact. Would recommend!

Had a great time traveling in our own private car with Harrison to Mount Buller ! The car was comfortable, drive was great, Harrison was awesome ! We had lots to chat about and had a couple of stopovers to get food and stuffs. Harrison gave some recommendations, showed us several farms and good spots along the way. He was also very flexible with schedule and patient to wait for us when we were late. It’s not the easiest traveling with a toddler but Harrison made our tour fuss free and enjoyable !

A Coach load of residents from Lilydale Valley Views Retirement Village had a most enjoyable day touring to Castlemaine. Harrison, our driver was excellent, coping with some hiccups such as road closures and slow meals. His pleasant and cheery manner made the day most enjoyable. Well done, Harrison & Harlan Tours. We would certainly use this company again for Senior Tours.

I had such a great experience with Harrison. He was such a friendly and genuine guy that a 3-4 hour trip didn't feel long at all. He transported my family and I safely and was very patient. He didn't mind waiting at all as compared to other companies that often rush the passengers to move along despite you paying a pretty big amount of money.

Would definitely recommend Harlan Transport and Harrison to anyone out there looking for private transport.

A fun tour with professional driver. My family’s and I (with 3 little kids) went to Mt. Buller with Harlan Transport, Harrison’s the driver. He is outgoing and shared so many funny story with us which add more fun to our trip. 4 hours drive with little kids is not a short trip, but we had a fun ride.

The weather at Mt. Buller was beautiful but a bit windy, children had so much fun with the snow. We heading back at 4pm just the weather started to get unfriendly (raining), fortunately. Everyone tired and we had a safe trip back home resting. Thank you so much Harrison.

A quick shout out to Harlan and to our driver Harrison for bussing us around for our End of Year celebrations last year!
We were all super grateful to have a nice air-conditioned coach to cruise around in while the temps were super high!
