Being a local this is one place I drive past several times a day and have never ventured in, until today. What a beautiful place with an amazing collection of gemstones donated to the town by Pino Deriu. My daughter and I took our time in looking at the gemstones and speaking to the knowledgeable volunteer Sam. A must see for anyone passing through the town. There are also some brochures and souvenirs to make the most of your visit to the area. I will definately return so I can admire the gemstone collection further.

Worth a visit if you're in town. They have a pretty neat little collection of gemstones from all over the world, which is free to view. The volunteer we spoke to was a lovely lady who was more than happy to point us in the right direction.

Advertised as open all school holidays but was closed when we arrived. Our daughter is an avid collector of crystals and minerals. We made a special trip to see the collection housed here.
Very disappointing. The contact information on the door was also incorrect. The number connected to a rescue centre in Sydney

Nice happy town. I was expecting it to be a lot smaller. The info centre is in the old court house which is worth a look regardless wether you need any town info or not. The volunteers were more than happy to help and had lots of information about the town and the entire district.

FRENCH's PARK is the local Rest/Camp Area that's located in Johnson Street. There are no toilets on site but plenty of room and a grassy area for all to enjoy. There's a large sign at the front of the Park showing where to access entry and where to camp. A nice, safe little place to stop for a night or two.

Dates and times advertised indicated that it would be open when I visited. However, was closed. Hence, negative review.
