A wonderful insight into the everyday lives of The Rocks inhabitants over time. John was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Perhaps a 2hr tour would allow us to explore a few more sights . We were definitely inspired to delve further. We had a small group and a beautiful day

My daughter and I really enjoyed The Rocks walking tour. It was very informative and interesting. The tour guide was very friendly and quite funny at times. My daughter was in her electric wheelchair and we only had to do a couple of minor detours as part of the tour.

After being a Sydney resident for more than 20 years, it's amazing how much there is to learn. Booking and check-in process were seamless. The Rocks is a relatively small area and we didn't have to do that much walking for a walking tour! Best of all though, our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, and totally wonderful to listen to. I'd highly recommend the experience, to internationals, domestic tourists and Sydneysiders alike.

We went on a walking tour with Edith on 18th of October from our hotel Crown Towers.

The tour was fantastic. Edith was very knowledgeable about the various sites, governors and convicts. I found a lovely winery on the tour at Suez Canal, along some more fantastic eaterys.

Even if you have no interest in the formation of Sydney or the history, it is still a very good tour for navigating your way around The Rocks area.

I did take my partner on a separate tour on the Saturday, just the two of us, as she was at a conference on the morning of the 18th, and actually ran into Edith at Foundation Park. We said hello and I told her tour group she was very good.

I can't really stress how much I loved this tour walk.

There is no better way to get up close and personal with the history and heritage of Sydney than joining one of The Rocks Walking Tours.

This was such a memorable experience. During the 2 hours tour we were able to hear the history of Sydney as the group strolled the shoreline of Sydney Harbour with amazing views of the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Cadman’s Cottage.

Vickie is the friendliest and most enthusiastic guide. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about the city.

The tour departs from The Rocks Walking Tours’ Office which is conveniently located in the heart of The Rocks Clocktower Square.

The Rocks Walking Tour was one of the highlights of my first day in Sydney.

Enjoyably educational!

Took the whole family so my 10 yr old could learn about our history.

We all learnt so much from our tour guide, Nickie. She really new her content and could answer the questions my son threw at her.

We learnt about the real size of the first fleet ships, the way they made mortar from shells, details of specific people from the 1800s, and so much more!

On our tour we even stopped at some great spots for photos of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

It was definitely a worthwhile experience.
