If you would like to be treated like an inconvenience for spending your money then this is the pub for you! Understandably understaffed being a small town. However on a busy long weekend in a town that is a tourist destination you’d think the publicans would be a little more accommodating. Food came quickly. Was average and overpriced and the hospitality left a lot to be desired. Save your money and head out to the mine site and eat a rock.

Great little pub in the Flinders Ranges. |Stayed here a couple of times. Good location to explore from. Rooms are very comfortable & the owners are nice people. Dave is very knowledgeable on places to visit around the area too. Beer was cold & food is good.

Well what a reception. If you wanted to be treated like a child or growled at or looked down on. This is the pub for you! Terrible lager, as the lady said, it’s not one of them fruity beers. When asked where it was made she said Adelaide with no more information give. Also, god for bid if you move a chair!

Recently had a shockingly rude experience with the hotel manager. Terrible service rude and abrupt wording and customer service. We have been clients there for many years. Recently she also had the decency to call the authorities on a friend when they were roaming on a friends property doing feral pest control and following Australian guide lines and made false allegations and false claims about them to authorities. My self or our friends will not be coming back here or supporting the business and we will be advertising the fact that we had a rude customer experience and also have dealt with a dishonest, nosey and rude person.

Absolutely disgusting to have been harassed when no one was doing anything wrong and it has been a traumatic experience due to managers incompetence, inconsiderate and dishonest report towards authorities.

Great pub, friendly and efficient staff. I highly recommend the peg lg lager named after he town founder Robert Blinman which is their own brew. The only criticism I have is they don't to the lager in a takeaway but still giving 5 stars because it was a crisp refreshing brew after the mine tour. Blinman pub, if you're reading this and have since made a takeaway please get in contact!

Caroline unfortunately wears a permanent expression on her face that could turn milk. A woman who seems to be constantly annoyed. I was part of a group of approximately 18 people there for dinner and some of us were also staying overnight in the motel. Service was hit and miss at the bar. Food was decent (I ordered the chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy) but the chips were cold. The salad was tasty and fresh. |Most of the staff in both the restaurant and bar didn't crack a smile. Caroline called last drinks around 8.45pm (on a Saturday night) while we were still chatting and drinking. Had she allowed it we would have bought more drinks, but I get the impression she doesn't like to see people having fun. |Rooms were comfortable and had an ensuite that was adequate. The accommodation is quite dated and run down and I noticed loads of cobwebs. The walls are very thin; I could hear everything as the person in the next room got up in the morning to use the toilet. I wouldn't choose to go there again.
