I stayed here 10 years ago for 3 months while having radiotherapy, and now I am back again for more tests and scans etc. I expect to be staying here again in the future for another 3 months.. The staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and very patient! The rooms are clean and functional, the meals are delicious.. Couldnt really ask for more while going thru a difficult time.. big thumbs up, thank you so much!

Good clean safe place for my mum to stay while undergoing treatment at the RAH. Really good priced meals can be ordered from the restaurant or there is a large family room area with full cooking facilities. Room have there own bathrooms and fridges in the rooms.

Great place for country people in need of accommodation when they are ill.
The rooms are clean . The meals are nice and fairly priced .

Pleased with room (clean and comfortable bed), friendly staff, budget dining room with attentive staff and nice food. Took me 12 minutes to walk to Royal Adelaide Hospital. Lodge shuttle bus was also a big bonus. My experience whilst my mother was in hospital was made less stressful and helped her recovery.

Very close to all the services you need and bus shuttle is perfect for get to and from app. Rooms are very basic and tired looking. Handly to be able to get meals without leaving

Close to town and have minibus taking people to Adelaide Hospital and back. Rooms are dated but clean with plenty of storage space. Basic meals are available for dinner. I would stay there again for convenience and very helpful staff.

Excellent stay with very caring and helpful staff happy to assist whenever possible with a friendly smile and attitude.
All the people I've met that use the facility are also as helpful and caring towards each other.
One hint I would like to pass on is, 'if you have 2 cars, choose the smaller of the 2 as the carpark is very tight to manage around and a smaller car will is so much easier to get to those tight park spots'.
There is a dining area at the facility and a pub next door if you'd like a bistro meal or breakfast.
Lots of exotic dining choices across the parkland (which is awesome for a casual stroll around) in Hutt Street.
Royal Adelaide Hospital is only 10 mins away and Queen Elizabeth Hospital is approx 25 mins away

The Flinders Lodge is owned by the Cancer Councel and usually only deal with cancer patients from rural areas. My father needed surgery on his heart and the good people at the Flinders Lodge made an exception so we stayed there for 8 nights and it was amazing, the rooms were so clean and the staff were so kind and courteous.

The reason why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the beds were a bit too stiff. Otherwise a great place to stay. Would recommend to anyone who has cancer and needing surgery and from a rural area.
