My partner and I visited Flaxman Wines for the first time last weekend and had Colin cook us the most beautiful lunch. We got a tour of the property, tasted some delicious wines and enjoyed their beautiful property. The atmosphere and knowledge Colin has makes this a must do experience when visiting the Barossa region. Not only do you get to enjoy exceptional food and wine you get a cuddle from Gus the winery dog!! We will be back for sure.

Colin & Fi were the most amazing hosts for our recent small wedding. Right from the beginning they accommodated our wishes to ensure our day would be perfect. The food was sensational and the wines outstanding. They went out of their way for us even to the point that their gorgeous dog Gus wore a bow tie! We could not recommend Flaxman Wines enough for an amazing lunch or an intimate wedding like ours.

What an experience! Eight of us arrived yesterday for our private dining soirée. We were welcomed by Gus, Col and Fi and immediately we felt at home.

The food was amazing and the wine was paired beautifully.

Such wonderful hosts and so much fun (particularly you Gus 🐶)!

The food was mouth watering delicious. Too difficult to chose which of their wines was my favourite.. 2016 Riesling maybe, which was a surprise. I usually steer clear of riesling, but it was dry and delicious. I can't recommend a visit here high enough. Everything was perfect on a beautiful afternoon in picturesque surroundings. You will fall in love with Gus and his big smile as he anticipates a belly scratch... 💛💛 A must visit if you love great food and wine.

Brilliant! Visited just before Christmas and it was one of my favourite cellar door and wine tastings in the Barossa. Just two of us turned up, yet Col spent dedicated time walking us through his wines. Was so great to spend time with the winemaker himself, his knowledge and information he gave was super helpful in my own wine journey. Doing some wonderful things and worth a visit 100%. Will return for sure.

Lunch at Flaxman Wines is a special experience. Col and Fi are warm and generous people and they have created a lovely welcoming atmosphere perfect for a leisurely lunch. Combined with outstanding food and wine made for a really memorable afternoon. (not forgetting to mention Gus who is living his best life with unlimited tummy rubs which we were happy to provide!)
