Very modern and nice club. Staff were all very friendly and most importantly, they have Asahi on tap served in the proper ice cold Asahi glasses which is worth three stars on its own. Had to drop one star as the bowling green was in atrocious condition with a surface resembling a roller coaster but as only my wife was bowling I sat back and took advantage of the previously mentioned Asahi and had an absolutely wonderful time. Would recommend this club as a great spot to sit back on the very comfortable terrace bar and down a few beers with mates. Well worth the travel.

Richmond club is a great place for the family to have a meal. Decently priced and the meals are huge, you can take them home and have them again. There has been a revamp and the arcade is lots of fun. There is glowing in the dark putt putt.

Unfortunately we had an issue with putt putt and our cards wouldn’t load but that’s ok.

VILLAGGIO RESTAURANT

It was about a 45 minute wait for food to arrive, and about 30 minutes waiting in a queue to order. I would highly recommend booking a table.

I found the food was delicious, not oily which is nice.
I had the chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce and it was amazing!! Meal sizes were large.
You can also choose two different sides to come with your meal ( chips/ salad/ vegetables etc)

Had dinner at the Richmond Club tonight and it was fantastic! The bistro is beautiful and the food was delicious. A special thank you to all the staff, especially Lana, who arranged the ice cream cake for my son's 18th. Thank you!

Five star for staff and activities but it's a shame the bistros food quality has deteriorated. One star for Villagio. The italian restaraunt chefs produce a weird Asian hybrid vibe. (I was told
my italian chicken with "pink sauce" which was orange was, "the red sauce with cream",
which tasted like a mild butter chicken curry. Waiterss on counter said yes for mashed potato, meal had mushy steamed potato brocoli and carrots instead. Kids pizza was half a pizza with a bit of topping only on the middle of the peices. Bit stingy. Tasted the pesto pasta which wasn't much chop either. Pretty sure it was just a mountain of cream in jar of pesto sauce on fettuccine.

Love the club though and always 5 stars for the staff. Can't fault them. Except the chefs.... meals are a bit weird.

Villaggio ~ Authentic Italian and Mediterranean Cruisine Great new’ish restaurant open all day. For pizzas go to Aldo’s in Richmond Main Street. Much better made by the experts.

I had plans for another restaurant that I wanted to try out for my birthday, May 10th, however, the night before, I looked it up and found that it was closed on Tuesdays. In a panic, I turned to my community FB page and posted a request for recommendations of local Italian Restaurants. Immediately someone responded “Villaggio Richmond Club”, shortly after that, and a Google, even one of the Managers of the club replied to the post and said that if I became a member, I would be entitled to my choice of selected meals, free, for my birthday and then offered assistance if I had any problems when I arrived. The free meal was not my intention but it was a damn good bonus.
On my birthday, I arrived, I became a member, I went to Villaggio and was seated, I saw the normal menu and the birthday menu, and I ordered. The lady, Lana, who took my order asked if my name was Becky and wished me a happy birthday. The waitress that bought out our starters, wished me a happy birthday, the owner came and checked if I had received my meal and apologised for the delay (but there was no delay) and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! With my birthday voucher, we purchased 4 meals (pizza, 2x pastas with chicken added to one of them and a garlic bread bites (pizza size)) and it only cost $57.00! The food, the service, the people, the club, the vibe and anything else you can think of was PERFECT! I will be back!
And Lana coming up to me as I was leaving, wishing me a Happy Birthday, hugging me, and thanking me for coming was taking everything to the next level!
