Catherine is a fantastic teacher, especially for nervous adults and beginners. I started as a nervous adult who had only done a handful of trail rides, and I've become so much more confident.

There are horses to suit every ability, and it's so nice to be able to progress from the "slow and steady" horses once you learn more and become a better rider.

One of my favourite things has been the free sessions for regular students, where you can help out with rugging, feeding, tacking up and other chores. I've learned so much about horse care and behaviour, which is absolutely priceless.

Tathren Stud and Riding School is a wonderful place to have riding lessons. I have been here many years and the support and advice I receive regarding my horse and my riding is always knowledgeable and helpful . I would thoroughly recommend Tathren Stud.

Alright I'm going to be blunt. As great as the teacher is in terms of learning how to ride horses, the abuse of this place is insane. Not only do they bully the workers, but the kids too. I speak from experience and in the end, I had to leave because I couldn't stand being treated like garbage anymore and publicly humiliated. Don't send your kids here. Save your money and your sanity. I'm sorry but someone had to say what this place truly is.
